The Courtyard

I originally visited for a works lunch meeting, but have since returned for iced coffees and cake! In my opinion they serve the best coffee in Bedale, and their Blondie Rocky Road is magical.

The service is fast, kind and friendly, and the courtyard in summer is a great spot for a drink and chat.

Lovely little cafe in Bedale marketplace with a courtyard that’s a real sun trap. The home baked scones were delicious and though we didn’t try a sourdough pizza they looked good.

Dog friendly and serve doggy ice cream.

My friend and I visited for the first time this afternoon and what a gem, not least because the cafe is open until 5pm unlike most others in Bedale that close around 2.30!!
We were greeted very warmly and the chocolate orange cake was delicious. An extremely enjoyable experience. We'll definitely be back 🤗

staff were lovely and food was lovely . the scones weren't covered over and there were a lot of flies and wasps and actually put me off my food.. i also didn't think it looked that clean the cafe. need to address bugs and cleanliness.

Really cold inside (1.30pm), put off ordering food as had to wear coats.
