House of Chaplin

I've walked passed this place 100s of times and never been in and had lunch with my daughter,loved the menu,not 10 pages thick which I liked any many dishes caught my eye,great choices of hot drinks and is licensed, loved the vibe ,good prices and very friendly staff,well worth a visit

Okay…I’m not being funny but….I just had probably the best breakfast I have had in a long time.

Hash brown- I’m not a fan so I gave it to my partner but she assures me it was spot on! (Same for the tomato)

10/10 would recommend to friends, family and anyone who is hungry for some lovely breakfast.

Great coffee with character. Tasty food. Friendly service. Great atmosphere. Only downside is that it's very popular, and can get very busy ... but that's a sure sign of doing it right.

Spent the morning in Bude before starting our journey home. A quick bite and coffee was our aim and this place didn’t disappoint. This coffee shop is well placed in the town with a modern decor. The service was prompt, friendly and the vibe was really chilled. The food was a good quality and the drinks were equally on the same level. We will visit again once in the Bude in the future.

An absolute gem of a place in Bude. 10/10 food & drink and a lovely relaxing atmosphere. The staff were super friendly too. Would definitely recommend and will be back soon for another tasty bacon sarnie!

So lucky to walk inside out of the rain and wind and find the space needed for four adults ,a toddler and a dog !
We really enjoyed our flat whites with oat milk . Tasty hot and served quickly. Our toddler had a baby Chino with a straw. Maybe a different child friendly cup next time?
The atmosphere was very relaxed with some reggae music. It attracts locals and tourists alike . We will definitely go again. Thank you .

Came across this place by chance, quite late in the evening after struggling to get in anywhere to eat (QPJ) even though the kitchen was meant to be shut (we were 5 minutes after 2100) the chef agreed to take our order. We can hands down say these were the best burgers either of us had ever had. Such good quality and very well made! What a gem! The cocktails looked lovely too but we were driving so couldn’t enjoy those! The staff were so friendly and accommodating also! Would love to return!

We have lived in London for 13 years and know the coffee culture and know how good coffee shops need to be to stay in business. Chaplin would be a 6 star if we could and is better than most coffee shops in London! The coffee was excellent, service was quick and they were able to accommodate all our weird extras. The bagels are world class too! I would highly recommend Chaplin.

Visited house of Chaplin twice this week! Once for a coffee and bagel to take away followed up by a vegan breakfast in house! Both times fantastic! Could not recommend more. Staff are lovely, food is to die for and not to mention our wonderful pup could pop in with us and enjoy the atmosphere!! 11/10 👌🏼👌🏼

I’d been waiting to eat at House of Chaplin since moving to bude, I was finally able to go for lunch today and it didn’t disappoint. The menu had such great options, my partner and I both ended up choosing the bacon and egg bagels and skin on fries, it was honestly delicious. The vibe of the place is amazing too, a very well run local bagel and coffee house. I think I’ve found my new favourite place to eat in town and I can’t wait to go back!

What a Dimond! Haven’t been to Bude in so long and this was the perfect spot to grab grub and coffees! Dogs made very welcome, lots of space, nice surfy vibe and very friendly! Warm brake from the winter winds!

Great little cafe, service quick, professional and friendly. Only one visit so far but the scrambled eggs were delicious and they were generous with the butter on the toast.
The decor in contemporary boardering on shabby chic creating a relaxing environment to escape from the bussle of the high street.
I will be returning.

What a find this place was. Great choice on the menu at reasonable prices. The staff were brilliant, I wanted a BLT but with the bacon crispy, this was no problem and it was cooked to perfection. It came on lovely soft granary bread and the best skin on chips ever. Lovely latte and my husband had a tea which was served in a mug which was fantastic. So glad we found this place and will eat here again highly recommended.

Lovely food and drinks and not to bad price for the location. Free WiFi and toilets are clean and tidy. Nice atmosphere and staff are very friendly.
