Thus is such a lovely place. We have been a few times now, including when it is extremely busy in the summer, and the staff are always courteous and attentive. The food is fabulous and so tasty and delicious. I would recommend.

We are a family of 4 and loved our lunch here. I can't have gluten and was so pleased to see that there were SO many options that were gluten free. I didn't feel left out at all. The service was really friendly and we felt so welcome. They were really busy so I would advise booking. The food was delicious. I had the fish special I really didn't want it to end. I think I may have licked the bowl if I'd had it at home! The desserts were also amazing. I would highly recommend this place. If we are ever back in Bude it will definitely be on my list of places I have to go back to.

We had stunning meal, attended by very polite and courteous staff, we relaxed after our meal in the coffee area. An absolute fantastic experience. We'll worth a visit and highly recommend.

They also had my favourite Single Malt Whisky. Perfect

Absolutely love everything about my visit here! My husband and I came in for a late lunch on Sunday......The food was divine and the customer service was spot on!

Very kindly, they managed to fit us in, and we are so glad they did. The three of us thoroughly enjoyed our two courses.
The service was lovely, attentive, but not overbearing, the choice of food offered something for all tastes and diets.
It's a shame we are only visiting the area, otherwise we would definitely be regulars

We both had the butterfly chicken burger and upgraded the fries to truffle fries. Was absolutely lovely! Recommended, there was no wait for a table either as we chose to sit inside. If you want to sit outside there may be a wait due to it being the busy season but worth it 👌

Went to the Olive Tree on a beautiful sunny day. There was a waiting for outside seating, so we sat inside.
We ordered hummus, veg. Burger and fish and chips. Everything was tasty and service was good.

Food was absolutely delicious!! Staff was upbeat, fun and helpful. Beautiful, calming environment we thoroughly enjoyed.

The banana blossom "fish and chips" was simply amazing. The staff, what can I say... They were absolutely wonderful. When finding out I would be out very late on the canal, and likely to be cold, I was given 2 blankets to help keep me comfortable. As it happens, I was sleeping when we left and did not return them, as yet. I will launder and return them before I leave for home in America. Thank you for all you did for me. I hope you know who you are and remember. You helped make my day better than just bearable. Bude is gorgeous and I loved it there. Thank you, again.

Very pleasant looking place, especially outside when the sun is out sat next to the river. We had to sit outside anyway, as dogs are not allowed inside. So please note this if you are visiting and it’s raining or really bad weather. Also please don’t let the empty tables fool you on the photo. We were lucky to get that table, because once the sun came out they soon filled up around us.

Loved the place inside and outside . Lovely to sit outside looking at the canal with a cocktail on a warm evening !

We stopped here for a quick bite and food was lovely and staff was very attentive.

Went during legendary HAGS golf weekend. As per usual had not booked anywhere in advance but can across this gem of a restaurant. Staff were super friendly and tucked us away at the back (think they could tell we might be a bit noisy). Wine was awesome and the food delicious. Definitely heading back next year!!

Atmosphere would be 5 stars from me had the family not chose to sit outside as it was pretty fresh! From the times I was inside it felt slightly abuzz and pretty cosy! 4 stars is quite unfair on my part actually.

After a morning on the beach we decided to head into Bude for some lunch. Stumbled across this lovely quaint restaurant on the river. Staff were lovely, accommodating and very responsive.

The prices were more than reasonable for what we had to eat. The quality of the food for the price was also great!

One burger with a great review. One small fish and chips for my nephew, one Gambas Prawns and two mackerel on toast. All I am happy to say we're delightful, although they did take a while to come, we were made very aware of this beforehand.

Will definitely be visiting again on my next trip to Bude whenever that may be. Not to mention the loveliest waitress I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

This place is often busy and for a very good reason, the food is absolutely divine!! Get a space if you can or reserve, they always have a helpful sign saying if there will be a longer wait for food. They usually have some lovely seafood specials too

Great little restaurant on the side of the canal in Bude, wonderful views and a great atmosphere, we just stopped for a quick bite and had some Cajun cheesy chips with a couple of pints. Service was quick and smiley, overall a good experience.

Lovely place to stop for food! We sat outside and had an early dinner after a day at the beach, the weather was lovely and we sat outside. They were very busy and we were lucky to get a seat outside (although there are plenty) and although the staff were very busy serving everyone, food and drinks etc didn't take very long

The food was exceptional - my partner has the vegan "fish" and chips and it was delicious! My pasta (forgotten the name) was incredible too and I rarely choose pasta when eating out but I'm so glad I did.

Our waiter was so lovely and friendly too. Definitely recommend!

Lovely place, me and some friends arrived after riding our motorbikes. Straight on to a table, GREAT service! And lovely food. All the stuff were very friendly and chatty, 100% would recommend and will be returning if in the area in the future.

Lovely chilled atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff. Food is amazing and the portions are great.
