The Brendon Arms

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Brendon Arms and I must say, it was an incredible experience. I ordered their fish and chips, and it was absolutely amazing. The food was cooked to perfection and the flavors were outstanding. Not only that, but the service was incredibly fast, ensuring that I didn't have to wait long for my meal. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was great, creating a pleasant dining experience. I highly recommend visiting the Brendon Arms for a fantastic meal and excellent service.

Excellent service and quality. The food is great, well priced. Beers are well kept. Very clean. Good outside area to watch the world go by. Dog friendly. We stayed for 4 nights, rooms are ideal. Great place to base yourself.

lovely meal today, i had fish'n'chips which is always "catch of the day" (hake today) nice crispy batter and a decent sized fillet. good price and big portions.

Had our Christmas meal here, the staff were friendly and accomodatin and the food was great with some good few options. It was really nicely cooked and good Cornish sized portions.

Great place only popped in for a pint and something quick to eat.. it was curry night and tasted bloody good x

Stayed here recently in the Elizabeth room. A single room overlooking the front of the pub. The room was tidy and comfy. The bed was excellent! Was a little noisy with late night drinkers, but that's to be expected!

Great breakfast in the morning.

Service was really friendly and warming.

Will stay here again if back in Bude 👍🏻

Excellent, clean, great staff, great location, good value for money, there was a live group during my stay so it was a bit loud.

Hadn't booked in advance, but they managed to fit us in early in the evening. Great service, great food, really enjoyed the meaty steak and ale pie.

Chose to have lunch here based on the other positive reviews. We phoned to pre-book a table which seemed the right thing to do as it gets popular here.

The bar is split into restaurant and bar meaning we weren't surrounded by people there to watch the rugby. Felt quiet and cosy in our section.

We both ate pie of the day which was lamb and mint, really tender and tasty and a healthy portion of chips!

Price was very reasonable and what you'd expect from a pub restaurant.

Visited Bude last weekend, the Brendon Arms was recommended to us by a local resident. Lovely pub/restaurant, with friendly and efficient staff.We had two lovely meals, very tasty and generous portions. It was very good value for money. We will definitely visit again on our next trip to Bude.

Lovely pub by the canal, great atmosphere, NSM jukebox so you can play music, there was a local homeless guy in there (pleased he was left alone by pub management, not always the case) we sat with him, got him a drink and learned about his story, such a happy soul, we had a great night.

We had Sunday lunch. It was so amazing that I ate everything and cleared.my plate which never usually happens

Amazing food, lovely atmosphere, dog friendly.

Had a meal. The food was gorgeous and warm. The service was brilliant. The pudding especially - a slice of Bakewell Tart - was worth going to alone.

We just had a meal here and it was excellent. The portion sizes were huge and there was a good selection on the menu. The desserts were lovely and all of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return again to try something else from the menu next time we are in Bude.
