Zeno italian restaurant

Our family of 5 just flew in from Spain this afternoon. Exhausted, our BnB owner recommended Zeno. What an experience! We were treated like family and the food, wine and cocktails were all exceptional. Thank you.

Great Italian restaurant, always good food when we go. Good table service.
The arancini starter and the scallops are amazing. Penne Lucifero recommended if you like spicy food.
They do kids sized portions from the adult menu.

Monday evening stop over for a flight. Just dropped in, and it's great. Friendly, clean, good portions, sensibly priced. The cold drinks are proper cold. Big bonus. Recommended.

Went to see a friend who was providing the entertainment for the evening. The service left a little to be desired but to be fair they were VERY busy & I was irritable through hunger & a drive up in traffic from London. I ordered one of the Xmas specials which was crispy pork belly with side orders of spinach in butter & roast potatoes. I was shocked at the size of the portion. It was sensational! Very tasty & the pork was tender & moist. I am VERY fussy because I cook from scratch & my Papi is Italian so I'm very critical. I will be back there in a few weeks time & will probably have the same meal but I'm taking friends back with me. I found the price to be very reasonable for the portion i got. I thoroughly recommend it!

An excellent evening lady waitress, didn't catch her name sorry, was lovely, friendly and courteous. The food was very good and of a high standard especially the tiramisu! Our rose wine was very moorish . Overall we couldn't fault it.

Wow, the food was seriously good. Didn't expect this at all. Hidden gem here, sourdough crusty pizza with lots of flavour. Lasagne had a hearty feel to it. Fish platter was fresh too. Crispy, seasoned to perfection. The bruschetta was good. Tiramisu was a creamy, coffee, sponge of delight. Thanks for everything at a great price !

Lovely decor, great food, outstanding service.

Cheesy garlic pizza bread delicious to start.
Main was a perfectly cooked fillet steak( One of the best I’ve had in a while) with a peppercorn sauce to die for, of which I had to order more. It was refreshing that it come served with Italian style roast potatoes and beautifully cooked seasonal veg.

The meal was finished off with a great homemade tiramisu.

As others have mentioned, this is a great and unexpected find in the village of Horley, near the Gatwick Airport. The atmosphere is relaxing and fresh, the service, excellent and the food was all wonderful. Highly recommend if you live here or are just stopping for the day.

The food tastes very fresh and authentic and is reasonably priced. We had the prawn and zucchini risotto, the spaghetti carbonara, the spinach and butter side dish and tiramisu and torta della nonna for dessert. All delicious!

Everything we tasted was great n also great wine n tiramisu ice cream. If u like Italian food this is the best place I recommend.

We came here with our friends n family. Everyone enjoyed every meal. The food was outstanding n we loved the presentation.

We had a wonderful meal! The restaurant does not advertise vegan food on their menu, but we had a beautiful 3 course vegan meal. We will definitely be returning.

From the get go we were made to feel welcome by the staff. Between our group of 4 we ordered a variety of starters and mains and none of us had a single criticism, the prawn based dishes were amazing and the veg that was in our meals was so fresh. The wine we chose (Merlot and Trebbiano) was faultless too. We were offered a complimentary shot of Limoncello each at the end and our waitress was very candid about tips which made us want to tip even more. It was a quiet environment but I think that’s because not enough people have been here yet to know how good it is. As a Brit with Italian heritage, not a single complaint here!

Really nice place, good food, friendly and quick service. We can see that the atmosphere will be great when the restaurant is full. Thanks a lot, we will be back.

We took some guests with us and as we hadn't visited Zeno before we were a bit worried it would suit us all.
The staff are amazing and made us all feel like regulars .

This lovely Italian restaurant was spectacular from start to finish. With friendly and attentive staff to great choices of food and drink. Whilst I had a lasagna and Mixed salad which was one of the best tasting I’ve ever eaten my guest had a delicious creamy carbonara. The chocolate soufflé with pistachio ice cream was so rich and perfectly sized. A surprise was the offer for Limoncello with the bill, whilst we did feel bad for saying no because we couldn’t eat or drink anything else this was received well. Exceptional value for money and the entire team here should be praised for their attention to detail. I hope to visit again one day.

Fantastic food, from starters all the way through to dessert and coffee ... Deliziosi ... A great find in Horley after a long Friday night journey from Wiltshire.

This is a hidden little gem in lovely quiet Horley. The food here is cooked to perfection and the choice of genuinely authentic Italian dishes is very good. The waiting staff are very friendly and attentive, they wait with bated anticipation to ensure you are enjoying your food. I would highly recommend and will certainly come back the next time I am travelling through Gatwick, well done guys.
