Bury Lane farm shops allows visitors to come and do seasonable picking. We visited for their Dahlias and it worth the trip from London!! They have a cafe, deli, groceries, indoor plants and more available to keep visitors busy at their site. Staff were very friendly. I highly recommend a visit to Bury Lane Farm shop, and don’t forget to bring scissors and a basket for the picking 🌸

We visited Bury Lane Farm this weekend to have a spot of breakfast in the cafe which was scrumptious. I went for the fresh salmon and scrambled eggs on sourdough which was cooked perfectly.

Refreshed and satisfied we ventured over to the pick your own peony field. The field was a spectacular view with row upon row of exquisite blooms. There were serval different varieties of peonies with a mixture of colours from delicate white and soft pale pink to cerise pink - it was a breathtaking view. The perfume from the peonies was also a real delight creating a peaceful atmosphere.

The staff member was really informative and friendly. The price of the cut peonies were reasonable and the wasn't an admission fee to the field so if you just wanted to take a few photos and enjoy the field you were more than welcome to. I would definitely recommend visiting Bury Lane Farm.

I visited the farm couple of days ago. It was truly an impressive experience. I didn’t pluck any flowers but thoroughly enjoyed walking through the flowers. There is well maintained garden center, souvenir shop, cafe and a lovely play area for little ones which needed advanced booking. PYO strawberries on its way. Will defo be there for it soon as they let the public know the details.
Highly recommended

I recently visited Bury Lane Farm Shop and had a wonderful experience picking our own peony flowers. The farm shop is beautifully maintained, with a wide variety of fresh produce, local goods, and delightful treats. However, the highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the "pick your own peonies" activity.

The peony fields were stunning, with vibrant colors and a sweet fragrance filling the air. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with all the tools and guidance needed to pick the perfect blooms. It was a relaxing and enjoyable experience, perfect for a sunny day out.

After picking our flowers, we explored the rest of the farm shop and were impressed by the selection of artisanal products and the charming café. We enjoyed some delicious homemade treats and coffee, making it a complete day out.

Overall, Bury Lane Farm Shop offers a fantastic combination of a charming retail experience and delightful outdoor activities. We highly recommend visiting, especially during peony season!

Great coffee if it was hot but they was busy. Great entertainment for children for soft play, the sand beach and activities, plus nice ice cream. Nice food from the chef. Would highly recommend if you don't have a screaming nut job 5 year old daughter. But my other daughters love it. I definitely need a drink after today.

Such an amazing place. The shop had beautiful bits, and staff were kind and helpful. We went for the peony pick your own where 5 stems were 6.50£. The field was kept clean and the flowers were beautiful.

Loved this place. Went peony picking and it was great and the flowers superb. Cafe is big, very busy when we were there but good service. Difficult to comment on food as we only had toast.

I visited on a Sunday afternoon and i swear it's not a waste of time. It's a beautiful Tulip 🌷 Garden. I have never seen so many colors(White, Red, Orange, Purple, Yellow..... ) of Tulip Flowers. It's a free entry and you no need any prior appointment or booking. You can pick your own Tulip Flower and they will charge based on that. Example: For 10 Stem they will charge 6 pounds.
Along with the Garden, they do have Big Shopping Centers, Kids Play Area and Cafe. In the shopping center they have a wide collection of Perfume, Bags, Groceries, Vegetables and Fruits, Cutleries, Chocolates, Candles..... If you are driving they have a big parking place. So you can park safely without any hassle.

Bury lane about a 5 minute drive from royston is a convenient and unique place. You can buy flowers, take your children to the fun barn or go to the cafe.

I usually visit here when I need to buy gifts as they offer gin, wine, jams, soap and many other options in the gift hall. A lot of their options are also made by bury lane farm or locally curated. With my most recent visit I went to go buy jams as a Christmas gift, their use by dates are long lasting until 2024-25 and only cost £6 for 2 jams. There is plenty of free convenient parking directly outside.

Would highly recommend this place to anyone even the soft play. Very clean fantastic friendly staff and can't believe how affordable it was for 2 adults and a 3 year old. (£10.50)

Went to granddaughter's birthday party at their fun barn. She and her friends had a fantastic time. The play equipment kept them amused for ages and the food barely touched the plates!
