Sheene Mill - Weddings

Love the location. Great setting overlooking a small lake with fabulous fountain. The only thing I would suggest to improve the venue would be to add a few extra sun brollies at the tables and increase the outdoor seating area. Food fabulous and great menu choice. Service excellent.

From the moment I stepped foot on the property, I blown away by the stunning beauty and impeccable service.

The venue itself is simply breathtaking. The lush gardens, elegant architecture, and views.

Every corner of the venue is thoughtfully designed, creating a romantic and enchanting environment.

The rooms are with great views and unique pleasant smell. Little ducklings around the pond will soothe your heart.

Overall, my experience at was nothing short of magical. We highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable experience.

Visited for dinner on a Friday night in May when there were not any weddings. The staff were attentive and welcoming. The restaurant has re-branded to the Mill Kitchen and the prices are now in-line with local pub prices, however you are still able to enjoy the same beautiful setting and surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed our dishes which were well presented, good portion size and tasty. We hope they do well.

We had our wedding day at Sheene Mill in October 2023 and it was the happiest day we could have asked for. Definitely helped by a very sunny day it made the gorgeous outdoor area shine out so much. The team were so so helpful and went out of their way to help us, I remember the night before someone stayed up incredibly late just to help us get our wedding cakes into the catering fridge as we hadn't planned properly (you will never remember to do anything perfectly!) I remember feeling so relieved that they had everything so nicely organized for us as I was stressed the day before and on the morning and they honestly made it such a Happy day. Thank you very much indeed.

We had a really delicious meal here last night. The fillet steak was cooked to perfection, really delicious butter chicken and an superb bottle of wine from Puglia all for an incredibly reasonable price too, Its such a beautiful setting. The two staff and chef that we met were so courteous, professional with great attention to detail. I hope that the local people support this restaurant, they really deserve it.

Had a lovely meal at Sheene Mill tonight. They have re-opened to the public 3 weeks ago, but of course they have been doing weddings all along which is what they are known for. A wedding is taking place tomorrow and it was lovely to see the beautiful setting. Everything was fantastic, the food, the decor, and the staff was amazingly friendly. Highly recommend.

I took my friend to Sheene Mill for her birthday for afternoon tea.

It was a glorious day and the staff kindly moved us so we could sit outside by the water.

The tea was delicious, everything was fresh and tasty with a range of savoury and sweet treats.

The staff were polite and helpful.

Lovely venue, we got married here at the end of May. Beautiful setting and views ready for the perfect photo spots. Food was lovely and the staff were brilliant taking over and setting up/making sure the day ran smoothly. 👍

Just had a fantastic family lunch here, fillet steak, veggie noodle bowl and prawn linguine. Soooo tasty, all plates cleared and will definitely be back. Attentive team taking pride in their work in a beautiful setting with lake and fountain. Highly recommend.

We provided an all day wedding service this past week at Sheene Mill. The venue and staff could not be more pleasant and accommodating to us with regards using their venue to provide for the happy couple. We were treated like customers ourselves and nothing was too much hassle.
The food was excellent and the day was an absolute success with everyone putting in 100% effort to make a perfect day for all guests on the day.
As a supplier we don't always receive such a warm welcome so decided to leave a review about our experience.
In fact we have asked the management if we can be part of their team moving forward and become an approved provider of wedding music and lighting. To work in such good surroundings makes our day and efforts much more enjoyable. Keep up the amazing work Sheene Mill

We held our wedding at Sheene Mill, and we are so glad we chose this venue.

From our very first visit we knew this was the one, the venue gives a beautiful, calm, intimate and cosy feel. With the most beautiful views.

We were lucky with the weather on our big day meaning we could use the garden and our guests loved being able to be relaxed by the water with a drink, we had children attend and we felt they were safe. We chose a sat down meal and in which our guests all commented how delicious the food was.

The staff were great and very helpful, friendly and fun during the evening entertainment making our guest feel even more ready to celebrate.

I just wish we could do this all over again! I would recommend Sheene Mill to others and already have, plus the parking is such an added bonus!

Our lunch at Sheene Mill was a special experience and one we will repeat. The service was excellent, the meal was extremely tasty and the overall ambience is unbeatable. We love it at Sheene Mill and are delighted that the restaurant is once more open to the general public.

We had our wedding here, it was beautiful. We had the weather on our side so luckily had it outside which is the main reason I chose this venue, it's stunning! The staff where amazing throughout it all and the food was lovely.

We attended Sheene Mill for a 60th Birthday celebration and the service from all the team was first class. The whole decor of the venue in and out was just amazing the the location overlooking the venue is one of the best. The food was delicious we look forward to visiting again soon 💞
