Buses here during this pandemic are running very well there amount of people allowed to travel on the buses have increased. Single deckers are 21 passengers and double decker are up to 35 people. I travel with disabled bus users and they find the service fantastic the drivers are friendly and willing to help where they can. The buses are clean and taking precautions. The bus terminal is well played out with seating available inside a sheltered building there's a little shop inside here with a public restroom. For now the restroom is currently closed. Good location to catch multiple busses to get all over Northumberland.

A lovely town with a good variety of shops, as an arty sort I particularly love Lateral Arts, but there is something for everyone to explore. The local park is a great place to take the kids for a run around, and you can also have a go in a rowing boat.
There are also plenty of great places to eat depending on your taste and your budget. Go have an explore of this wonderful town.
