So good we came twice.
Great food and drink in a beautiful environment at a very reasonable price, served by efficient friendly staff. Only detractor was a couple of children’s desserts were added to our bill in error. This was removed without question but is the reason for 4 stars for service.
Met the owners on our first visit who were charming, and deserve great success with this excellent restaurant.

This is a really lovely pub in hebden bridge, I came in with low battery and needing to get a train home and asked the lady behind the bar if it was possible to charge it and she plugged my phone in for me.
I decided to stay for a drink and food. The prices are a bit steep for a pub but the food was delicious and the service was excellent. I ordered from the specials menu and can't remember the name but it was deep fried calamari, prawns and sea bass with chips.
The portion size at first looked small but I struggled to finish even though I wanted to eat everything on the plate. The presentation was really well done. The chips were nice and crispy and everything was perfectly cooked. It came with a side of salsa and alioli.
The atmosphere was very relaxed and calm. They have a range of seated areas from comfy Chesterfield's to rustic tables and chairs and the decor is very nice. They also played quite nice chilled music. I would definetly come here for a drink or food again and would definetly recommend to anyone else visiting hebden bridge. It also seems extremely dog friendly.

Visited here for the first time with friends. BOOKING is advised as it was very busy. We sat upstairs which was a beautiful setting.
I had fish cake for starters and the lamb and mint burger for main.
Friends had the set menu which was 2 courses for £21 I think.
The service was of a high standard with very attentive waiters.
Would recommend to friends and family

Food came out fast. Staff were very friendly. Ordered the lamb henry and that was just ridiculously good. Tender and tasty. Large portions. Highly recommended.

I love this pub. It has great beers on offer, as well as mouth watering food.
On my last visit I shared a trio of bar nibbles which were gorgeous - sweet potato fries, chicken goujons, and garlic and rosemary focaccia. They were definitely more filling than "nibbles" which we were happy about!
The decor is lovely and homely and the fire was definitely a nice touch after a chilly walk.

Best place to eat in Hebden bridge. Not cheap but really good quality. Also great choice of beers. We've eaten upstairs in the restaurant which is nice but the bar down stairs has a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Pleasant service and tasty food. Dog friendly venue with large windows facing east-south and many tables positioned right by them (perfect for basking in the sun).

I've just enjoyed the seafood festival with my mother. She struggles with her mobility but your young waitress with the fair hair was absolutely fantastic. Helping her to the loo etc. The food was fantastic and so we're your staff. Thanks very much.

A welcome retreat, with space, excellent Vocation ales and a log burner. Just what we needed after a long hike over the moors in... "February weather" 😆

This place is a gem! Staff are friendly and helpful, service is good. Downstairs (pub) has a nice warm atmosphere, upstairs (restaurant) has great decor and art! Wide selection of drinks, including some quality ales. The food... is amazing. I had a surf and turf as a chef special and it was honestly one of the most enjoyable meals of my life. My friends highly rated their food too. And the price, whilst not being cheap, was indicative of the quality of the food and drink. Handles social distancing well too, as an additional point. Overall, would recommend this place to anyone.

I cannot fault this fine establishment.
We came for food on a day trip to Hebdon Bridge and what a fantastic find.
I had THE best steak I have ever had today in this great restaurant.

Food was delicious, wine was lovely and the staff were great. Not a complaint at all, but we wanted to leave a tip, and had no cash, there wasn't an option to add a tip when paying by card. I would highly recommended this restaurant.

Came here a few yesrs ago. Lovely bar serving 9 real ales and one real cider. Had an excellent pint of Pride of Pendle. Lovely airy interior and we got the comfortable Chesterfield seating. Beer terrace to front facing the main road.

Top notch bar this, whether just popping in for drinks after a walk or a sit down meal, always a warm welcome, food absolutely superb and well priced, and then there's the ale!!! Guaranteed to be a tremendous selection every time you call in, lovely traditional pub with a modern edge to it, dog friendly and really great service and staff, outside area for those that fancy it, I highly recommend this pub.
