Mooch Cafe-Bar

Popped into Mooch for a quick cuppa but was delighted to find a lovely little cafe with friendly, efficient staff that served delicious food and outstanding cakes. My new favourite ever cake is Ginger and honey with a plum jam filling which was incredible.

Brilliant service , I had the vegetarian breakfast and my husband had the full English and both were the best breakfast we have eaten in a cafe/ restaurant ever !!!
The food is of a very high standard 5 stars is not enough.

Went to our favourite place and had our usual lamb tagine😋best ever. Lovely staff and very friendly especially the Scottish lady😊.

Had a lovely pot of tea and a slice of gluten free cake here. The staff were friendly and the portions were generous. Was a lovely cosy spot to have an afternoon treat.

Cosy welcoming venue, brilliant coffee and lunch with brilliant staff. Nipped in today for the first time with my partner and we will definitely be back! Coffee was brilliant, great veggie and vegan options and the staff were just lovely. Dog friendly and overall great value for money. Thank you 😊

2nd visit to confirm... Friendly, welcoming staff. Great selection of drinks & snacks. Covid safe procedures and very dog friendly, Benson offered water before I got my tea👍👍
Update: Returned on campervan trip, excellent friendly service that I thought could be improved.... Is even better! 5⭐ Staff. Benson was offered a chopped sausage & tasty decaff coffee blend. If your in Hebden Bridge, #TeamMooch is worth the wander along the road away from tourist centre. Thanks guys.

We had an extremely enjoyable lunch here. Tuna on ciabatta with salad was described as "the best ever"! Meanwhile my double burger was sooo tasty and filling. Sadly no room for cakes 🙁😂!! Helpful and friendly staff, nice surroundings made this a very pleasant visit. Go and give this place a try... I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Highly recommended.

Amazing amazing hot chocolate!!! Visited with my friends after a long walking trail and was absolutely impressed by the food and drinks. Lovely cosy place for people of all age groups 😋 Highly recommend.

Absolutely love this gem. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, love the coffee, a great selection of tasty cakes and fabulous food. Perfect place for a catch up with friends. Lovely cosy atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

The only cafe in Hebden to have a full English (vegan option too). And the sticky toffee pudding is a show stopper. Quirky, bohemian spot where the staff play vinyl on the record player. Very good coffee here, a close second to Humblest of Pleasures over the road.

We called here for lunch and had a very enjoyable meal and experience.
The service and food was very good.
We was seated and served by a very interactive young waitress who was on the ball and so refreshing to have this type of service, I unfortunately forgot to ask her name.
We had the cold salads I had the Prawn Salad which came as requested and had a good helping of prawns and very tasty. My wife had the Hummus and olive which again was good.

Love this little gem. Such a good place to chill with coffee and enjoy their healthy and yummy food. Best bit......the staff. Love them to bits. Michelle makes me smile every trip come rain or shine.

As usual this little place is always a great place for lunch or a drink. The staff are excellent and always friendly and helpful. Sorry but today the last slice of Victoria sponge was quite dry and the cream was slightly gritty. I think the wrong type of sugar was used to make the buttercream. We will always be back at Mooch when in Hebden Bridge.

A lovely friendly place with good gluten and dairy free options. The coffee is very tasty too.

We attended for lunch with friends and took our 2 year old as well as a newborn. I was very tempted by the calf selection but the others ordered larger meals so I ordered the falafel. Very tasty with a lot of fresh salad. The children's hummus and vegetables was perfect. We were seated in one of the rear rooms in the covered courtyard which had a cosy and relatively private atmosphere.
