Went for Lunch time beautiful food an drink an family meal very sunny day very busy but nothing too much trouble pleasant bar staff an restaurant staff had hot an cold starters an beers an a cocktail for me an daughter resturant just on edge of the street into the town near ole sweet shop big portions looked at sweets cakes etc but was too full dips an pitta nice too.

Great food, staff were amazing, really nice place, ambience was great and relaxed, music not too loud. We would deffo go back and recommend to friends and family looking for tasty food

I had a takeaway so I can't comment on the atmosphere, but as the other two categories deserve five stars I think it's fair.
Excellent service, friendly and thoughtful staff and the food was excellent. I had a lamb kebab and the pieces of lamb were beautifully cooked and there was lots of it.

What a lovely restaurant. Owners and staff very welcoming. Lovely inside. Food super nice. Definitely going again.

There were four of us and we all had a 2 course meal.
The food was beautifully presented and the flavours were amazing.
Very good portion sizes too at a good price.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and would recommend Aya Sophia. We will definitely be going back

Lovely restaurant - I went here with my family who came up from London and wanted something nice and authentic. Ordered loads of different meats and thought the food was made very well. The design of this place is beautiful too and they were super accommodating to our dog. Having finished the weekend, my parents said that this was their favourite place they'd eaten at before going back down. We ordered the pide and the mixed grill as well as some vine leaves fries, cheese rolls (bourek) and the Greek salad.

If you are in the cocktail bar (the only dog friendly section) and it's cold then make sure you're closer to the front door because that's where the heaters are. The staff did bring blankets but it didn't do the job (they did try!).

For the four of us it was about 112 pounds

We did cocktail making at Aya Sophia for a hen do back in May. They were amazing - so helpful, happy for us all to make different cocktails, great value for money and really good with different dietary requirements. We had much more food than expected and everyone really enjoyed it. A special thanks to Ozzy who made sure we had an amazing time!

Cocktails, great music roof top terrace what more could you want. Food tasted so fresh the garlic bread, fries chicken kebab, houmous,pitta breads and fresh yogurt. We had a try of everything the nicest thing was the spicy sausage wow loved it all. The staff were friendly and accommodating would highly recommend going here.

Great food served by Josh, could not fault the quality. Had several dishes & never thought it would come to end. Plenty for all it has to be said & excellent value for money. BTW Josh, great sense of humour, nice to know there's young people out there keeping these places going.

Popped in on a rainy Thursday night after looking for some where to eat. The place was busy but we managed to get a table for 2. We had the 2 course for £17.95 meal deal. Food was lovely - baked feta, houmous and chicken kebab each with a side of chips. Service was great, staff are friendly and welcoming and we weren’t rushed to leave as soon as we had finished. Would recommend.

Called in for a quick lunch, food was absolutely spot on. Will definitely be back.

Called in due to another restaurant card machine not working. Wow so glad we did. Food amazing.Staff extremely friendly. Food was delicious severed hot and not a long wait . We called on a Thursday at around 7 pm the place was busy but couldn’t fault anything from walking in to leaving. We will be calling again soon.

Just love it here. The food is fantastic and the staff are lovely. Reminds me of the tavernas on holiday. Kept forgetting to take a photo before we started eating.
The Stiffado is just amazing.

It's been a while since my last visit and I can say the welcome was just as welcome and food just as welcoming. They've added lots of outside enclosed areas, making for more chances to get a table. I went for the Aya Sophia Suprise, you never know what you're going to get, but it was delicious, multi mouthwatering meats, cooked to bring out their taste, lamb shank fall off the bone, sucuk, kebab and lots more. We had free entertainment with a group of 16 going through one bill for two tables, complaining that they needed two bills to settle. Nice to say that it was a pleasure to try their food again.

Great food and service. Staff really nice and helpful. Decent prices. Place good for quick bite or family/friends dining in. Wide choice of dishes. Really satisfied with the taste. Recommended

Lovely restaurant, came as a family of 6 and the food and service was fantastic. Atmosphere was busy and bustling but not super loud.
Would recommend a visit to this lovely place.
