Park Life Cafe is a brilliant cafe... with a wide range of foodto choose from. The food is fantastic and the setting just great. The staff are friendly and the prices very reasonable.
The park consists of a small children's play area for most ages. There is a gym area with outdoor equipment for older children and adults which is free. There is an open grassed area for playing football or just having a kick about. Around the park are lots of benches to sit watch and ponder! There are also lots of places to have a picnic and picnic benches is the children's play area. Would recommend.
The park is a short walk from the train station and near to the centre of Hebden Bridge. The canal runs between the park and town. You can have a walk on the canal path and look at the many canal boats.

Great little cafe in Calder Holmes park serving cakes, coffee and ice cream, just by the canal and minutes from Hebden Bridge Main Street.
Two separate queues for ordering with one cash only to speed things up.
Was busy due to the hot weather and a busy park, but served quickly and friendly.

Had a great experience and time at the cafe. All the reviews about the COUNCIL OWNED toilets and facilities are totally unjust because how’s it their job to deal with facilities that are not their responsibility.

Overall the ice cream and drink I had were absolutely tasty and the atmosphere was quite friendly and the prices are fair for the selection on offer.

The entertainment for kiddies is also given with a small table that has paper on it with some crayons, which I think is super cute.

Really recommend the cafe for its food, especially the ice cream and it’s fun and friendly atmosphere!

I get my kicks on Route 66
Favourites are Toffee Ripple Crunch ice cream in a two scoop tub with chocolate sprinkles. Have this with one of Charlie's awesome cakes. Or ask for a Nick Butty, go on, I dare you.
There's free Wi-Fi and some charging ports in the corner.
Don't be surprised to wait when it's busy - It's only a little kitchen and everything is made to order.
Bring your menagerie or your ear plugs.

The coffee is great and the staff are nice. Various cakes, sandwiches and snacks available. There is a book shelf with some great reading and books about photography and modern graffiti. Tables and chairs outside to chill out on or sit inside and take a look at some modern interior ideas such as metal colanders as light fittings and reclaimed wood nailed to the wall. Good music too. Located in a wonderful park area next to the canal and a stone's throw from the town.

Really great cafe with amazing locally made 'posh' ice creams but with good kid options too (no refined sugar but still passed muster). Very Hebden in that it caters well for gluten and dairy free options, even ice cream :-) Staff very friendly and welcoming too.

Great little cafe in the park, lovely lovely people, outside seating where the kids can run around without bothering people. Right next to the skate park, playground and basketball/football courts. Fantastic cakes and fine coffee as well.

Went today, and although I really enjoyed the ice cream it was the smile of the girl who served us that made the experiance.
You simply can't teach people to exude friendliness
