Julia and her team at Garthmyl Hall were absolutely fantastic before, during and after our wedding. They have been nothing but exceptional, providing great customer service and a very calm and kind service throughout. We had postponed our wedding on a couple of occasions and yet they remained in contact and answered all of our questions that we had in a timely manner. The hall itself is stunning, there is honestly no other wedding venue that compares to it's beauty. Thank you Julia and everyone else at Garthmly for one of the best weekends of our lives so far!

From the moment we visited Garthmyl Hall we instantly knew this was where we were going to get married, everything about it is absolutely stunning.

We honestly can’t fault the help and support we had from Heather leading up to the wedding and on the day itself. We wanted a relaxed, fun day that was tailored to us and that is exactly what we got! The whole day ran so smoothly and that was all credit to Heather and the team. We know there must have been so much hard work behind the scenes but it was made to look so easy and effortless. Also, thank you to Holly, Laurie and all of the other staff who looked after us all weekend too!

We have had so many lovely comments from our guests about how amazing the venue is, from the setting, the accomodation, the amazing interiors, to all of the staff- it made for the perfect weekend!

At the beginning of the year we entered the ‘win a wedding’ competition and luckily enough we won. Since winning the competition Julia and her amazing team have kept in contact with us to help us plan our special day, providing a list of amazing suppliers, advice and support. Julia and the team really did go above and beyond to help plan a smooth sailing day.
We chose a few packages that they offered including the welcome drinks- which everyone loved, Prosecco for the ladies, and Peroni’s for the Lads and we also had the bbq for our evening food.
We chose to stay at the hall on the night before the wedding day which made the morning so much more stress free.
When we arrived Friday evening we were met by Lucie who was so helpful and went through the order of the day with us so everything would go smoothly.
In the morning we woke up and the beautiful dining room had been laid ready for all of our guests who stayed to enjoy breakfast which we had brought with us.
We had planned to get married in the stunning walled garden but unfortunately the weather was against us, but Lucie took charge and we moved under the stunning tree so we could still get married outside and keep us, the guests and the string quartet dry.
Lucie was there to help answer all of our questions throughout the day and made sure our hole day ran seamlessly- without her feeling like an employee she felt more like an invited guest which we loved and so did all of our guests.

We would love to give a special mention to all of the bar staff who were amazing especially throughout the night as the drinks were flowing , Michelle in particular was great ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

On the Sunday we enjoyed a cooked breakfast provided by the hall which was very much needed and we loved the late check out time of 12 it gave us all enough time to enjoy our morning together and have a bit of a lay in.

We had custom cocktails for the evening which really made the night feel personalised to us.
We really really couldn’t be happier with how it went, they were all so yummy and very reasonably priced

All of the rooms are absolutely stunning and we would have loved to have stayed in all of them, each of them decorated to the absolute highest standard with the perfect extra details, chocolates, toiletries, and beautiful flowers.

Words cannot describe how much we loved our special day at Garthmyl Hall! Not only was the venue the most stunning place we have ever seen, it had so many cool and quirky rooms which everybody loved. Julia and the team were so lovely going above and beyond to make our special day just perfect! A big shout out to Mary and Alex working on the several bars till early in the morning and keeping the fire pits running. Sorry I didn't manage to catch the names of the staff working in the mornings but they were just as amazing too, working super hard but making it look easy. Thank you again Julia for giving us our dream wedding

What can we say...you will not find a better wedding venue than Garthmyl Hall!!

We first met Julia in 2020, and were welcomed with tea & coffee in front of a roaring fire to discuss what we wanted from our wedding weekend. Instantly we were blown away by Julia's friendly and relaxed approach, and her attention to detail didn't lapse at any point. We booked the hall immediately! Even on a chilly wet October day, the venue and grounds were simply stunning. Each room is decorated beautifully, the walled garden really takes your breath away, and the additional accommodation of the Stables is so convenient!

We got married here in June 2022, and I would like to thank Julia for all her help on the build up to our special weekend. She was only ever a text away and always readily available with a solution.

Luckily, we hired Garthmyl Hall from Friday to Monday and having the extra night was so worth it - it really felt like home from home and gave us a chance to properly relax with our friends & family. The wedding day was over in a flash, so enjoying a brunch and BBQ on the Sunday was perfect. Julia was faultless throughout the weekend and nothing was too much trouble including helping alter a bridesmaid dress an hour before the wedding (yes, really!!) and helping get marks out of my dress. She was very professional and attentive without being over the top, and she really made us feel relaxed! By the end of the weekend we felt like we'd gained a friend.

A huge shout out to Garthmyl's staff too - from being welcomed with fizz upon arrival, to cocktail making all evening, and serving us the most beautiful food & drink, they couldn't do enough to help us. They worked tirelessly all weekend but never let the late night show - they were always friendly, smiley and accommodating. They really help make Garthmyl Hall the special venue it is.

THE BEST WEDDING VENUE! Garthmyl was the first venue we visited and we knew straight away that it was perfect for us! So much character and uniqueness to it, beautiful grounds and rooms! The wedding was like a big party weekend, all our guests stayed which made it so relaxed and easy for everyone! Even though the wedding happened during Covid it felt so relaxed and Julia was so helpful with any questions and just sorted it all out for us so we didn't have to worry! It's such a special place and you'll have the most wonderful time with your friends and family! Thank you so much for helping us create a wedding that was even better than we could have imagined! xxx

WOW!! What a fantastic place!! I recently got married at the gorgeous Garthmyl Hall, and I don't think there has ever been a more stress free weekend! The Hall is extremely well run. The team have great expertise, they are super friendly and you are given the freedom to create the wedding of your dreams.
We got married in the Walled Garden (it and the rest of the grounds are so beautiful) there were also two alternative indoor rooms to get married incase of rain.
We would recommend Garthmyl to everyone! Absolutely Magical Venue!

My son and daughter in law recently celebrated their wedding at Garthmy Hall. Throughout our 3 day stay the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We had such a fabulous time, none of us wanted to leave. The staff, house and grounds are all fabulous. We're all hoping to go back one day for a short break. It was all truly magical. We have just come home from our 3-day wedding in Garthmyl hall. From start to finish it was the most perfect experience. We had originally agreed on a Lake Como wedding, but changed our minds after meeting Julia and visiting the hall. The hall, the stables and especially the grounds are stunning and immaculately kept.

From the beginning Julia was incredible and knowledgable. She was on hand for WhatsApps throughout the whole process and helped us to pick the perfect suppliers who made our weekend so memorable.

When Julia told us she wasn’t going to be able to work on our wedding weekend as she would be having her little baby, we were worried. But when we met Laura all of that went away.

Laura is super efficient, made the whole weekend seamless and I can’t thank her enough for everything she did. She made everyone in our wedding feel taken care of, making sure she learnt everyone’s names and by the end of the weekend felt like one of us!

The rest of the Garthmyl team were just as amazing. Darren, Laurie, Andy and Holly (to name a few) went above and beyond every day and were so gracious and friendly. All the team rallied round when we had a medical emergency on the Friday night and made sure everyone got home safely.

This is a dedicated team, proficient with working with external vendors to make sure you have the best wedding you could imagine.

This was the best weekend of our lives made better by the whole team who felt like friends by the end of the weekend!

Where do we even begin?!

As soon as we visited Garthmyl Hall, we instantly fell in love with its charm. The beautiful setting and gardens make it hard to believe that you’re not abroad! Every corner of the hall has been carefully designed. The decor is classic with modern touches, and every detail is perfect. We’ve had so many positive comments from guests with many saying it’s the best wedding venue they’ve ever been to! If you choose to hire the Stables for additional accommodation, you won’t be disappointed. Just like the hall, the rooms are faultless and Julia’s creativity and interior design have given them so much character.

You can hire Garthmyl Hall for the entire weekend, arriving on the Friday afternoon before the wedding and leaving on the Sunday afternoon. Everyone tells you how fast time flies on your wedding day, so you really want to make the most of it and this was a huge deciding factor for us when considering our wedding venue. Being able to spend extra time with our closest family and friends the night before the wedding and having a debrief over breakfast the next day was so special, and part of what makes Garthmyl Hall so unique!

Our first wedding date was booked in April 2020, but due to the pandemic we had to make the heartbreaking decision to postpone. I can’t explain how incredible Julia and the team were throughout the pandemic and the countless rearrangements we had to make. We finally had our special day (fourth time lucky!) on 26th February 2022, and we will never forget the kindness that was shown to us during uncertain times. We heard so many horror stories from friends getting married and the struggles they’d faced with their venues during the pandemic, and I could honestly cry just thinking about how supportive Julia and the team have been towards us, especially when they were also facing their own challenges in the wedding industry.

When our wedding day finally came around, the day was so chilled and relaxed and it felt like home. Everyone at Garthmyl Hall felt like part of the family, making us feel so welcome and going above and beyond to make the day special. From the countless cups of tea for the Grandparents, to ensuring the log baskets were always stocked up, every little detail was thought of and nothing was too much trouble! Special shout out to Het, Rhi, Andy and Alistair - total legends!

Thank you for making our day well and truly worth the wait! We feel so privileged to have been able to spend our wedding weekend at Garthmyl Hall surrounded by such incredible people, and we can’t wait to come back and visit soon! Thank you for everything!

Organising the most important day of our lives through a time of such unknown and uncertainty was definitely daunting and come with a lot of disappointments’. However, Julia helped navigate us through the hard ships and kept us feeling positive, well supported and optimistic that our day would finally come and it would be everything we had ever dreamt of - And it was exactly that!!! From our delicious and intimate breakfast the morning of our big day to the bar staff and servers becoming our second family for the day, there was nothing at all to fault - sheer perfection from start to finish and every minor detail in between. Thank you to Julia who’s dedication and compassion remained a constant - We are forever in your debt and always in awe for what you have created with Garthmyl and how it holds such a special place in our hearts. We had the most amazing wedding at Garthmyl Hall in November. Heather and all the staff went above and beyond to make it the perfect weekend for us and all our family, most of whom stayed on site in the beautiful accommodation. If we could rate higher than 5 stars we would. Garthmyl Hall is an absolutely exceptional wedding venue, the whole process from arranging our initial viewing to the actual weekend was flawless.

All of our guests commented on the stunning location, decor and the amazing staff. Heather, who we met on our initial viewing and dealt with all the way through to our wedding, was incredible throughout the whole process and ensured that everything ran smoothly on the day. From helping to set up on the Friday to clearing down on the Sunday Heather was on hand to help where needed and we cannot thank her enough for making our weekend amazing - truly a credit to the industry.

From arrival on the Friday it is clear that the hall go above and beyond to make your weekend special. A special mention to Holly and Laurie on the bar who looked after us on the Friday and Saturday - both so lovely and attentive!

I've been fortunate enough to capture weddings here and it's perfect! The hall is beautiful and the walled garden area provides a perfect backdrop for photographs 📸 one of the best!

We provided the wedding band for Charlotte & Connor's special day at Garthmyl Hall. Absolutely wonderful venue and a must-see if you're looking for a wedding venue in the area. What can we say! We had visited a few wedding venues before Garthmyl Hall but when we arrived at Garthmyl we fell in love with the place right from when we pulled up. It only got better when we were shown around by Julia. The gardens are out of this world and the "walled garden" where we got married was like something out of a film, an amazing experience in a truly beautiful setting. We hired the hall for 3 nights and enjoyed the gardens on the Sunday so it wasn't all over straight away which we can highly recommend and have some garden games. Julia's team are absolutely fantastic and a complete credit to her, Holly, Keasaw and Andy as stand out performers but all were amazing. All of the rooms were superb and the out buildings where we had guests and family staying were lovely too, we will use these when celebrating anniversaries for sure! Couldn't recommend enough, a truly remarkable venue that will not disappoint!! Thank you Julia and co, Adam & Claudia.
