Coffee#1 Wells

Probably my favourite coffee shop in the area. A rustic look which is inline with the coffe #1 brand. I regularly go to enjoy a coffee and the quality is very consistent. The staff are very friendly.

I find that when drinking coffee in some coffee shops it can sometimes leave a bad taste in your mouth. I found Drinking their smooth blend didn't cause such problem

Very pleasant visit to this coffee shop. The coffee itself was clean and staff were vigilant about clearing the tables. Lovely range of cakes / buns…staff are very friendly and helpful….expected range of coffee / tea with the addition of seasonal flavours. Only 1 x toilet which was in need of a clean however this was the only downside…full disability access throughout and disabled toilet (toilet x 1 assessable for all - not specifically for disabled users) No parking by coffee shop use public car parks within the City

Fabulous spiced chai and flavorful raspberry croissant. Pleasant surroundings and bonus, free coffee grounds for your garden. Great recycling.

Great dog friendly coffee shop, very reasonably priced. Delicious smoothies and frappé. Good selection of cakes/patties. Free dog biscuit barrel too, much to the joy of my greedy four legged friend....

Great coffee! The peanut butter cup is delicious and they have vegan options for desserts and savoury meals :)

Popped in for a rest and drinks. Hubby had bacon bap. But he said it was tasted off? I took bap back and explained. Staff was kind and friendly, we had a refund and a complimentary cake on them. Thought that was lovely to do for customers.

Two lovely young ladies running the shop late afternoon today 26th jan , so nice to see happy welcoming member’s of staff. Popped in with my son it’s sadly the nearest one now, wish we had one on are doorstep.We love Coffee#1 and spent a lot of time in different ones in Bristol. Had to have one of those naughty but nice custard filled croissant and that great coffee or two which I greatly miss . Thanks girls you made my day.

We came in for a coffee date and as always it's a great coffee shop - it's our first choice whenever we go anywhere to venture into a coffee number 1. Didn't have food this time but we had a hot chocolate and tumeric latte and as always it's always fantastic. Coffee number 1 is also dog friendly!

I was one of the last customers, late on Sunday afternoon, but you wouldn't have known it from the welcome I got. The lady who served me was warm and friendly, service was quick and efficient.
The toasted teacake is the size of a plate and the hot apple juice with cinnamon was delicious, I even got a seat in the window.
Though they were closing by the time I had finished, I didnt feel I was being rushed out.

Must be the best Mocha I have ever had. Creamy , smooth and full tasting. My husband had a coffee and he said his coffee was gorgeous . Apparently reknown for their sausage rolls being excellent. I did not have one on this occasion but I saw someone who did. It looked amazing . Thin pastry filled with masses of meat . Will be going back pretty soon I reckon.

Great coffee, some of the best in Wells. New management has turned it around over the last couple months. Great food, always service with a smile in a wonderful atmosphere. Can't go wrong, best on the high Street

Came in on Tuesday the staff were really helpfull when I asked them some questions about the drinks. The pina colada smoothie was amazing. Shame I had to go straight after I got my drink otherwise I would've order a cake and sat inside, Because the cozy apartment styled interior is very inviting.

Since new management have taken over I can't fault it, it's very well run.The staff are always so friendly and bubbly- in fact their latte art is amazing!! Food is good quality and atmosphere is great, especially when you want to use it as your office away from home

Just had a decaf coffee and welsh cake..Coffee was lovely...member of staff who had a Somerset accent. Recognise we were Scottish and said sge was from Paisley which is where we live..she was very friendly.

I'm in here all the time, staff are always friendly. Coffee and cakes are always delicious. Can get busy at times but only had great service x

Always smells amazing in here because the coffee is excellent and there is plenty of seating and the staff are very friendly.
It can get a bit busy and therefore a bit noisy
