I attended Ask on Saturday night for my Grandma’s 85th birthday with a table of 8. Adina was extremely helpful, attentive and friendly. She went the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our visit. Thank you so much!

I can't speak more highly about my first visit to the Wells ASK. The food was exceptional, including the vegan and gluten free pizza. The service was exceptional: friendly and accommodating. The ramp up into the restaurant was a bit too steep for my wife's powered chair, but was otherwise great from an accessible perspective. Fab!

Peter and John our servers were fantastic. On a busy night they were able to find us a quieter area, as my daughter was becoming overwhelmed with the noise. Their attitude was both professional and friendly, thanking time to make her (and us) feel at ease.
The food was lovely and the premises was very clean and well laid out.

Restaurant was quiet when we arrived and able to get a table easily. Wonderful vegan menu. Well presented and flavoursome. Server was polite and friendly. Restaurant became extremely busy and there were only 3 servers. This did not affect the quality of the service at all. I was very impressed.

Enjoyed a nice meal today, the service I had to say was spot on, apologies I didn’t catch the young chaps name who served us (very tall) however he was fast, polite and friendly, really refreshing in terms of quality customer service - well done!

First visit to Wells and Ask Italian. Really loved the decor and view of Wells Cathedral amazing! Food was great and our server, Peter, was excellent. Made for a lovely evening with friends and would definitely recommend a visit.

Visited with friends and couldn’t fault it. The service was amazing, we felt extremely well looked after with nothing too much trouble. Our waiter was so friendly offering us recommendations which didn’t disappoint. Food was as delicious as always! Can’t wait for our next visit.

Group of 25 visiting Wells cathedral to cover weekend services. Top class service from Peter and Dan - all starters and mains pre-ordered and arrived at table piping hot. Yes its very loud and almost impossible to hold a conversation without raising one's voice, not ideal for us singers!

I went here recently with my fiance for our anniversary. There was a nice relaxing atmosphere. Our server (John ) could not have been any more welcoming. Upon arriving at the restaurant I went in to fine out where was best to park and John came outside in the wind and rain to explain where to put the car. When we came back he was extremely friendly and attentive. As for the food... its was great. Looked and tasted amazing and didn't break the bank. Thank you to John and the rest of the team for making our evening so special

Food always pretty good for a national franchise. This branch is in a lovely location, the staff are very welcoming and there's never any rush to move you on. A good choice to eat amongst many other eateries in Wells.

Excellent meal again. Celebrated a friend's 21st birthday. The staff were friendly and looked after us especially Peter. Food was delicious.Would definitely come and visit again.

Very surprised at how good this was, especially for a national chain. Absolutely the best Calamari I have ever had. The Carbonara was good too (not the classic with just eggs, it did have cream in, but not too much). Good service, and a stunning view of the Bishops Palace from our seat.

I really can’t rate this ask high enough.
This isn’t even my local ask (not by a massive distance, but it’s well worth the extra half hour drive!)
The service is second to none even during busy periods they really are person centred and care about your time there.
I have taken the children several times and again- great service they made my children feel at home and involved them as much as possible.
The waiters are wonderful and the manager (I think is a male) is really the icing on the cake everything is in top top shape when he’s in. He seems to do the job of them all very seamlessly and ALWAYS with a smile, a true face of ask and beacon of best practice.
Hats off to you all- and merry Christmas we will definitely be back in the new year.

Wonderful lunch with family at Ask Italian in Wells. We have visited on many occasions and never been disappointed. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is always lovely. It’s our favourite place to eat in Wells with our children. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Great food, new spring menu, lovely staff, just a bit chilly, the air con was on and it was not the warm and evening.

Walked in with my 2 children, they managed to accommodate us whilst fairly busy.One of my boys is a fussy eater, but thoroughly enjoyed the food and we weren't made to feel awkward for any alterations. Wait time wasn't too long, the food was delicious and the staff were all very attentive. Fab experience, will definitely revisit, but will probably book next time to avoid potential disappointment. 😀

What a fantastic place to eat. The food is amazing!!!! We were actually being looked after by the manager who was so professional and helpful. He really personalised the experience for me and my partner. Also, it’s not everyday you see the manager working hard on the shop floor. This guy certainly deserves a promotion.

Good tasty food, we had the burrata and mushrooms to start and the sausage pasta for mains was delicious. Attentive service, was a but dark inside but would recommend this restaurant.

Really enjoyed my experience. It was my first time eating here, and it had great food and amazing customer service, they could not have done more for me. Will be back again. I will be recommending it to family and friends.
