Janey's Village Cafe

Had a great fry up with my Mum. The staff were very quick at serving us and very friendly. Very nice homely vibe which I appreciated. The medium fry up was more than enough for me, reasonably priced too. If I’m ever in the area again I’ll be returning 🙂

First time we have been. We arrived at 1130am and it was pretty busy. Only few tables left and I noticed lots of locals in. We were planning on just drinks but seeing what was coming out of the kitchen decided on some main meals. Simple food well cooked. Cheese and ham omelette was tasty. My son had the full breakfast. It was good. When we left there was a small queue to come in. They didn't go away they were going to wait. It's a good honest food place. We will go again. You should too.

What a gem of a place, especially as it has its own off road parking. My homemade burger n chips was gorgeous and my wife said the sandwiches we're delightful. With a proper sized pot of Tea and Supafast and friendly service it's the perfect stopgap. Will defo be calling in again.

Brilliant cafe , food is always amazing service is always top notch and everyone very friendly and attentive you won't find anywhere better in the area and very reasonable prices give it a look you won't be disappointed 10/10

Hands down the best breakfast you can buy! Perfect food every time and I've never left feeling disappointed. Served by the waitress almost immediately! Very friendly and helpful with lots of options available, and modifications to our order were no problem at all! The food arrived impossibly quick, and it it's always delectable!

No frills place dosent pretend to be something it's not. Just amazing food and service

We heard that this place did gorgeous breakfasts so went out of our way for one here, and yes! I had the best cheese and mushroom omelette I have ever experienced in my life!!!!! We all thought that the staff were fantastic and would definitely recommend this place if you want a proper, big breakfast. Or just a nice one.

genuinely the best people, and service anyone could ask for in Hethersett as a community cafe. the service is amazing they are very quick to order, the food is incredible and drinks especially the milkshakes and lattes and great size meals perfect for the price

Breakfast was very nice hash browns were really nice. Would look forward to trying some of the other menus aswell

Its also ran by very friendly people who are passionate.

There is also a nice selection of drinks i had a j2o for a change and there was a nice selection of flavours.

I think there is also outdoor seating for those nice days and a car park

Amazing omelette, never had one as good!! We were all extremely happy with the service and food. Fabulous for big breakfasts!!

We had a lovely lunch at Janey's today. First time visiting since we have moved to Hethersett and definitely won't be the last. Food was lovely and fresh. The service was great, I didn't get the ladies name but she was super friendly and attentive considering how busy it was. I would highly recommend

We regularly eat at Janey's despite living a reasonable distance away purely because the home cooked food is simply worth it. The portions are very generous for the price and the quality is excellent. The staff are always lovely and accomodating. Highly recommended. I'd also suggest trying their breakfast which they serve all day, definitely the best in the area!
