One of my favourite campsites.
Excellent facilities, could be a little cleaner, but don't let that out you off.
Lounge area, dog kennels
Super relaxed & friendly owner

Brilliant campsite - great facilities, hot showers, washing up area, toaster, microwave, fresh vegetables for sale, everything well maintained. Lots of lovely places to walk the dogs. Only slight downside was a hornets nest just behind our pitch, leaving us unable to use lights in our awning at night. All facilities on site paid for via an honesty box - 50p for showers. No pressure to leave on departure day.

Lovely campsite in a quiet setting not far from the beach or town where you will find plenty of places to eat and a CO OP for your essentials.
Campsite has plenty of shower
rooms and toilets, very clean and laid back atmosphere, pitch sizes are very generous and an added bonus of 2 kitchens with essentials you can use free of charge, ie kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge, freezer,( washing machine )for £2 . Why wouldn’t you want to visit Applefields, will be back again.

Lovely campsite with many practical touches such as fridge, freezer and washing machine. Proper individual shower rooms with basins and toilets. Really clean. Best value for money I've experienced in a campsite in England. Highly recommend.

If you have been on the road for a while and are a bit grubby this is the campsite for you. Numerous showers, kitchen sinks, two washing machines, a tumble dryer, two fridges, a freezer, two toasters, two kettles, a microwave, dog washing area.... All in good condition and very clean. You also have the choice of electric and non electric pitches. Quiet site just on the edge of leiston town so you can walk into town easily and that has loads of amenities Inc charity shops, supermarkets, a green grocer, a zero waste shop, brilliant steam museum in an old foundry works... Or if u go in the opposite direction there is a nice walk to a ruined abbey from the campsite

Lovely simple site with all the necessities - hot showers, clean loos, plenty of washing up space and a dog/boot shower. Lots of electrical hook up spots too. Nice walks around and just a few minutes to Thorpeness and Aldeburgh beaches by car. Susan the owner was lovely, very friendly family site. We'd happily come back for another stay here.

Good weekend, wide spaces. Lovely owners. They have a little garden where they grow their own stuff and put it out on sale.

Lovely and clean, and tucked quite far (about 200 meters) from the main road.

No light pollution allowing you see a sky FULL of stars!

Leiston Abbey 10/15 minutes walk (maybe longer if you have small kiddies) down a path behind the campsite.

LOVELY ALL ROUND!!!!

Try the tomatoes about August!!! LOVELY !!!!!

Lovely green, quiet site..may need levelling blocks. Excellent showers (50p), clean toilets, everything you could wish for..dog wash, welly wash, although didn't use kitchen, everything you could possible need to prepare a meal, fresh fruit and vegetable grown by owners available to buy in season. COVID aware, hand-wash on entry to & from utilities area, lovely, relaxed cheerful owners. Easy walk into nearest small town Leiston which boasts a decent coop, leisure centre, cinema with occasional live shows, several decent pubs and eateries. Near to the ruins of Leiston Abbey, Dunwich, Aldeburgh (Benjamin Britain), Snape with its music Festivals and Woodbridge. We are planning our next visit.

Such a great campsite. This is the second time we've visited applefields and both times we've been impressed with the facilities and cleanliness. Highly recommended place to stay and a great location for exploring this part of England. Thank you so much for your attention to detail.

Loved this little site, so relaxed, can come and a go freely, checkout and In is relaxed when not busy, fresh veg available on site, all amenities were very clean and tidy. Loved it so much we came back the following week and just rocked up without booking, plenty of room, big open fields for the kids to have a run around without stumbling over another tent! Lovely beach just 5 minutes drive away! Defo go back

Lovely site , huge flat field , with water and electric points on most pitches, pitches were huge , large enough for our 7 man tent , car and event shelter , toilets and showers were clean and well stocked ( never ran out of toilet paper, we spent most nights looking at the stars , was so dark you could see the milky way , will definitely go back , suzie the host was very nice , very trusting site , you don't pay for anything until you leave , loved our week there
