Fabulous little cafe we were lucky to find today on a trip to Barnard Castle. Very friendly service and lovely cake. We didn't stop for lunch but there was lots of temptation on the menu. Hope to be back when we're next in the area

Didn’t get to visit due to time constraints, but with only 2 days notice Carly very kindly made and decorated a beautiful lemon and raspberry cake for my dad’s significant birthday while we were staying at a hotel in the town.

Fantastic customer service! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Popped into Moments cafe for lunch today.
The staff were so kind and helpful, as we needed a table to accommodate a physical disability.
The food is beautiful.
Bread, scones and bakes etc all home made.
The menu caters for vegans including many dessert options (which in my opinion is a rare find)
The oat latte and tea is very good too.
Thanks for such a lovely lunch 💚🌱

Live in Barnard Castle and only just found this little gem of a place.
Beautiful cute cafe, healthy options, light snacks and meals(see menu), lay out is qwerky with tables ranging from 2 seater to partys of 8/10, lower levels they have super cumphy couches and chairs, with kids corner to accommodate the smaller humans.
First time here I tried the avocado on toast with extra eggs, enjoyed so much I returned the next day, the soup was delishous, bread was super fresh, the Omlette was a special request and probably the best I have had, filling was ham and cheese, so light and fluffy. I'd highly recommend, should be on the menu it's that good.
10/10.
Staff were super friendly and happy, just added to the atmosphere.

Delicious homemade scones and a nice place in the sunshine for the pup along with a water bowl provided, though also looks like dogs would be welcome inside on a cold day. Love that they reuse the individual serve jam jars instead of creating waste!

Real gem of a place!
Wonderfully characterful building, cosy and comfortable. The greeting as warm and friendly as the place. The menu is small but offers a great choice, including plenty for vegans and gluten intolerant folks like myself. In fact, more of the cakes were gluten free than weren't!
My choice of cafe for birthday lunch....it was so good that we were back two days later to try more things.
I'm an utter coffee snob and certainly wasn't disappointed by the flat whites on each occasion. It's so nice that they use Lonton, a roaster from the same town. The taste of the coffee is so much better than the stuff found in chains!!
Excellent service from beginning to end just topped off both of our visits. Hope to be back before too long!!

Very friendly little cafe we found by chance. Made more special as it has been the owners dream since she was 8 years old to own a cafe to cater for lots of dietary needs, which I have. Food was excellent and staff so friendly. Would recommend a visit

Lovely little place to stop for a drink and or snack / meal. Lots of places to sit both on ground level and downstairs, plus there looked like they have an outdoor seating area but it was raining so we didn't go out to have a look.
Our drinks and food was very tasty.
Service was friendly and helpful.

A lovely and unique place, the food and drinks are fantastic but what makes it such a special place is the friendlyness of the staff. If you are in Barnard Castle and want a lovely cup of tea I cannot recommend this café highly enough.

The most amazing tranquil place... love it downstairs in the hideout. Feel like I could settle down with a good book for a few hours.

Natchos were amazing all washed down with a most fabulous oat milk chia latte. Lush.

So great came back the next day for a late lunch. Ploughmans and another Chia latte most delicious. Brought a book this time and chilled.

What makes it so perfect is the staff who make you feel at home and the big welcome to dogs.

Just been here for scones and cuppas. Delicious scones and lovely hot, hot chocolate, cosy atmosphere and the waitress was so pleasant. Definitely worth a look.

My favourite place to pop in for lunch, a takeaway cuppa or a slice of cake. The staff are always amazing, the hot chocolate is to die for, nachos are outstanding and the place is so cosy. Would Definitely recommend

Fabulous. Lovely, lovely staff. And it was lovely and cool sitting downstairs on one of the hottest days of the year. Pro tip 1: the daily sausage roll is an excellent choice. Pro tip 2: the very solid, thick, walls mean the strength WiFi downstairs isn't fantastic, so, instead of skimming Facebook, have a chat instead!

Fantastic cafe, they only have a small space for eating on the ground floor. There is extra seating downstairs. As I am disabled I didn't get down there so I didn't know how big it is. The toilet is on the ground floor, it's not an accessible one though. If you can walk a little bit you might be able to use it
