The Coffee House Durham

The food is good. We had a panini and a piece of corned beef pie. Both tasted great and we didn't have to wait long. Tea came in a decent sized pot, which meant I got a couple of cups of good quality tea. Then we had a piece of vanilla sprinkles sponge and a black current flapjack. Both tasted homemade.
The pieces of cake were very generous, which was amazing considering how reasonable the prices are. Really glad we stopped in. Thanks you.

Lovely independent coffee shop. Very nice coffee and breakfast rolls, nice to support a small shop rather than a Costa or Gregg's.

Great little dog friendly coffee shop, staff are friendly, it's reasonably priced and there's a bit of all sorts to choose from on the menu.

Decided to pop in as drawn by the sign on the window for a mug of tea. Ordered the bacon roll with tea and added a chocolate chip cookie. Managed to get a comfy seat watching the world go by. Service was quick and roll/drink was hot and tasty. The staff seemed pleasant and friendly.

Popped in for a warm drink on a busy day because of the Durham Miners Gala. The staff is friendly and the service is good.

Not much room indoors, but nice plenty of seating outside, really nice staff and food to die for

Lovely and cosy, the staff were fantastic and very helpful. The food was excellent, tasty and hot.

Had a really nice toasted teacake which was tasty with plenty of currants and mixed peel and a lovely cappuccino with chocolate and cinnamon. Will certainly return as a good teacake is hard to find.

Cost place to sit for tea or coffee pleasant staff

Arrived around midday, must have timed it right. Straight in found comfy seats really helpful friendly staff. Order Arrived before I settled my wife down, Alzheimers. Really great cake and coffee was good. Thought it was good value for £4.95. Would strongly recommend 👌

Our experience was faultless, coffee was creamy and well presented. In our opinion it was reasonably priced. Good atmosphere, staff were very efficient and pleasant. We returned later in the day and had milkshakes. Again, tasty, well presented and a reasonable price. Service on both visits was timely and waiting time was kept to an absolute minimum. Well worth a visit if you are in the area and need a refreshment!

Lovely food friendly staff well priced will go again

A lovely little coffee shop in the centre of Durham with great staff and good coffee. A perfect place to sit and chill with friends or do some work.

Went here today for coffee and cake and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. Highly recommend the mocha and the caramel shortcake but there were loads of tray bakes to choose from and they all looked tasty. Good place to meet up with friends.

Even though the poor staff rushed off their feet, they were still exceptionally polite and friendly. The order did take time, but I didnt mind waiting in such a friendly place. My daughter, 6yrs old, didnt even get bored, which is surprising. Will definitely go again as I want to try their cakes, they looked amazing.

This is a really nice place, the Breakfast Wrap was very good and great value.

The prices are very reasonable for the location and quality.
