Could not recommend enough! I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do my hair! Laura has been my hair-dresser for many years now and no one can cut may hair as well. I have very thick hair and a lot of it and it can be very difficult to cut and style due to the amount of hair I have and its weight. Laura always goes above and beyond to make sure I’m comfortable during my time at the salon and that I’m happy with the cut and style by the end of my appointment. I’ve had a brilliant experience every single time and I will continue to be a client for as long as she’ll have me.
The whole team at the salon are fantastic. Always friendly and welcoming. There’s da community feel to the salon and it’s a lovely environment to be in to unwind and have a good chat. Again, could not recommend enough!

I can't praise the Retreat enough for both professionalism and friendliness. There is always a happy uplifting atmosphere and all the girls are so lovely . Laura has been my hairdresser for a few years now and I love my visits to The Retreat. Everyone is welcoming and friendly and it’s always a pleasant experience. Laura always does my hair exactly as I like but will advise me on colour or cut choice if I’m stuck for ideas. I would recommend this salon to anyone.

Fabulous place for hair, nails and a chat. Have followed the girls from other salons as I don't trust anyone else. They are accommodating and listen to what you want. Stacey does my hair and she is amazing! I always leave the salon happy and usually laughing at some of the stories. i have recommended both Stacey and Amy to friends and family. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Stacey has been my stylist for over 7 years now and I’ve followed her from salon to salon until the girls took the bravest step and opened their own salon.
The salon is a hustle and bustle of warmth, understanding and humour. I always look forward to my appointments and spending time putting the world to rights.
But most importantly the girls are fabulous stylists, they never fail to make people feel special and provide the best service they possibly can.
I believe that the team at retreat are more like friends than stylists, they take the time to listen and learn who you are and always remember your last visit and ask how things are going.
I wouldn’t even consider going anywhere else!!

I've only had 2 visits to the salon, 3 if you include the initial consultation. And pre booked again...

I had previously messaged and explained I'm awkward and basically don't cope well with social situations....

The girls in the salon have done nothing but made me feel extremely welcome. And work with me well. They are a canny bunch, and the banter is always good. I have never felt at ease in a salon until now!!

I've sat and watched how amazing they are with a range of clients from young to old! And the level of care and compassion for the clients is unreal! It's not just about hair and beauty to these girls it's building the level of trust and an relationship with their clients! On top of being amazing stylists/beauticians.

The work is amazing! My hair has never been in better condition! Nothings a bother for them!

Absolutely love every visit to The Retreat, treat like a member of the family from the moment you walk through the door. Never had any issues if I've needed to move appointments and always notified if anything comes up on their end. Have recommended to many and will always support the girls. My late Mam used to struggle with ill health and severe sight loss which made her uncomfortable away from home, she used to love her visits to The Retreat for treatments and general fuss and pampering. Keep doing what you're doing girls!!

I get my hair done by Stacey and have had treatments by Rachael. Both are brilliant at what they do and make you feel comfortable. All of the lasses are lovely and make you feel welcome whether you're their client or not. I wouldn't go anywhere else now.

Laura is a really good hairdresser and always makes sure I'm happy with my hair. I'm also a wheelchair user and the salon is really spacious and Laura and the other girls are really patient and helpful. I really enjoy my appointments
