Absolutely fabulous! Ulli is a delight and puts so much thought and effort into crafting personal touches on your cake. I ordered a Bienenstich for my mum's birthday and the cake was gorgeous. Such an rare and skilful bake made to highly professional quality. She sent photo updates during the process and was often in contact. Could not recommend her more. <3

We were blown away by the cakes Ulli made for our wedding. They were beautiful as well as being absolutely delicious. Ulli was so helpful in guiding me through the different options and was able to manage our various dietary requirements (gluten free, vegan). I’m looking for an excuse to order again!

I've had cupcakes on a few different occasions and a surprise birthday cake recently from Ulli's bakes. All of them were AMAZING! Each bite a delicious morsel, baked to perfection, each of them a small work of art. Very importantly the sweetness levels were always perfect (unlike some cases were your teeth hurt).
The birthday cake was a salted caramel and it was probably the best one I have ever had. The sponge was perfect, small pockets of caramel which complimented the sponge and a delicious buttercream that didn't overtake everything else! Very very much enjoyed! I can't recommend Ulli's Home Bakes enough! I will be most certainly going back for more.

Amazing birthday cake made for my granddaughter. All I had to do was give a little explanation of how I would like the cake and left all up to Ulli and wow we got a fantastic cake. My Granddaughter was overwhelmed with her magical cat inspired cake and as for the taste WOW! it was perfect. Thanks for all the hard work you put into making her special day even more amazing with her cat cake. This is our new go to place for our celebration cakes. many thanks :)

We had the most delicious wedding cake made last July. It had to be Vegan. All guests even the none Vegans thought it was one of the best cakes they had eaten. The decoration so pretty ( a beach theme) . I would recommend the cakes to anyone wanting a special cake or even to treat themselves!

Having baked an incredible cake for my daughter, I commissioned Ulli's Home Bakes to provide cakes and bakes to Peachey's Cafe within Sherburn Hill Community Hub. I've enjoyed 2 special occasion cakes from Uli - a baked chocolate crumble cake for my birthday which was just so tasty and not too sweet. A gluten free (not easy) apple crumble and custard cake which she researched and made for my gluten free friends 50th - it tasted just like a bowl of crumble & custard, delicious :) Now i just need another special occasion :)

Ulli has baked gorgeous cakes for us. We have thoroughly enjoyed posing with them and eating them! Ulli' s gluten free chocolate cake for my partner was delicious and he was very impressed with it indeed! She made a gothic style cake for my daughter's 15th bday and the girls loved it! Will be ordering again soon!!

I ordered a stunning red velvet cake for a colleague's birthday, and was the lucky recipient of a divine chocolate cake for my own birthday. Ulli's cakes taste every bit as good as they look, and are made with so much attention to detail. Ulli takes the time to understand exactly what is needed, and always manages to exceed expectations. Their flavour, texture and level of sweetness are always spot on; and they are always beautifully presented. Ulli's cakes are the best. We've had two cakes from Ulli for birthdays, a brilliant chocolate Oreo cake with Oreo buttercream icing and a fantastic traditional Victoria Sponge. We were very happy with the cupcakes ordered for my daughter's 6th birthday party; beautiful, delicious and exactly what we ordered! Ulli accommodated our early morning pickup timing and gave us a bulk order discount. We couldn't have been more happy. My 6 year old daughter was thrilled with them, she thought they were so beautiful and Ulli captured exactly what my daughter asked for. The party goers all remarked on them, and I passed Ulli's contact to a number of the parents. ❤

Ordered two Victoria Sponge cakes based on the reviews I read and definitely was not disappointed. One was a gift to a friend who said it was without doubt the best she had ever tasted. I can concur.
I also ordered the cheesecake for a treat. It too was delicious. Nothing like you get in the stores. This cheesecake was up there with the very best.
