First time ordering and certainly won’t be the last. The food arrived hot, all packaged well and on time. The quality and flavour of each individual dish was amazing. Depths of flavour with quality produce used in the making. The portions were a lot bigger than expected for such a low price which I’m certainly not complaining about. One of the best meals I’ve had delivered in a long time. Happy to eat vegetarian food all the time with quality like this 🙏

First time we ever tried a vegetarian only takeaway. Everything was cooked to order and ready at the time of pick up (even though I changed the time!) The set meal for two is amazing value and you get a lovely selection to try and the perfect amount of each. The Dal was my favourite (never thought I'd say that) my wife loved the cauliflower bites and the rice and.... you get the picture. Give it a try you won't regret it.

My husband and I have been enjoying the delicious food from Sattvic Ahara for a couple of years now. In fact I'm ashamed it's taken us this long to write a review!

The food from Sattvic Ahara can only be described as fresh, wholesome and full of flavour. And in two years of ordering we have never once been disappointed.

Service is second to none and our order is always ready on time. It's also exceptional value for money.

It's such a luxury for us to be able to order from an establishment that not only caters for our dietary requirements (plant based/GF) but that prepares the food in the same thoughtful way that we would were we cooking it ourselves at home.

Not vegans or vegetarians but our daughter and her patner are so we treated them (and us) to a celebration meal. Communication was helpful and friendly, all the food was made to vegan standards and got to say it was brilliant!!! with a wide range of dishes even though the menu was limited. Excellent quality food cooked to a high standard. Exceptional value for money at slightly over £10 per head. Many thanks to all staff for helping with our celebration....we will be back again 🙏🙏🙏

This takeaway food is beautiful. They are all vegetarian dishes which is not something I would usually go for however, the taste of the food is amazing and I did not miss the meat ingredient. We have been back several times now as we have found it delicious every time. We order by text and get a response back within minutes confirming the order, nice and easy. Deliveries are always on time and have been greeted by a friendly and smiling face. We would definitely recommend that others give this a try.

I've tried everything on the menu and can highly recommend every single item. The food is fresh wholesome and very tasty. Lovely authentic flavours always nicely packed and hot.
Sattvic Ahara deserves 5/5 I will never use anyone else as nothing compares to them ,I have travelled to India so know a little about the cuisine. It's truly replicated in every thing I've tasted from the menu.

This was our first time trying Sattvic Ahara and we were very impressed. Very friendly service, they responded very quickly to my requests for allergy advice and readily provided me with a gluten free option. The set menu for two was a delicious feast. It provides a variety of freshly prepared dishes which go together very well. Even my husband who doesn't usually like vegetarian food really enjoyed it and would like to have it again!

The food was delicious and fresh. So full of flavor and very fragrant. I’ve had the versatile vegetable pilaf and the endless lentil curry. For dessert I’ve had the sugar free eggless muffin. Needless to say I’ve enjoyed every bite of it. I totally recommend it!!

Exceptional service and quality, and delicious food. We have had takeaway food 4 times in 2 months and introduced family and friends to this excellent way of eating. Friendly communication and very accommodating; they changed menu items and recipes to cater for allergies. Could not ask for more and all or guests have been blown away by the taste, variety and value for money

Wow wow wow. What can I say. I would never of normally gone for a vegetarian option take away but my goodness I'm pleased we did.
Last weekend we ordered the Saturday night meal and tonight we have had the Friday meal honestly the best food we have eaten. The flavours and textures go so well together, you can really tell some thought has gone behind the menu. I would recommend this place to anyone. This will be the best place to eat from in Coxhoe and for £12!!! Can't get over it!! Thank you

Delicious food, amazing service and unbelievable value! We had the Saturday menu yesterday and enjoyed every little bit of it. Even though we usually would get something with meat in, we didn't miss it. They even adapted the menu to suit a Coeliac diet without being asked. So glad someone has decided to offer a takeaway service that is not only delicious but healthy as well. We have reordered for next weekend!

We’ve just enjoyed an absolutely delicious meal tonight. Totally five star experience. I’m a very fussy vegetarian and I have to say this is one of the best meals I’ve had for a very long time. The quality of food is as good as any up market restaurant. Fresh wholesome ingredients and the taste is incredible. Very professional service, polite and helpful staff and delivered on time. Can’t wait to try other dishes! Oh and great value for money.

We've tried all three set menus now and each one has been as amazing as the last. The food is really high quality, fresh and tastes a lot cleaner than your average takeaway.
Delivery has always been on time and friendly, I could not recommend this more highly.

Fantastic food. Ordered from here a couple of times now and can’t speak highly enough for the variety and quality. Excellent prompt service. Card payment done at the door. All vegetarian food but even if (like us) you are meat eaters, there is enough interest in the varieties of dishes to not miss the meat. Strongly recommend!

Our first time ordering from here and would definitely recommend. We had the Sunday night set meal and it was all lovely. Ordering and service could not be faulted. We will be ordering again.

Absolutely delicious food, really friendly service, agree with other reviews, wonderful clean, authentic, high quality, tasty food. Plenty of it too, such good value for the price, and great attention to detail. We mentioned it was to celebrate out wedding anniversary and they added a card and kind wishes on the delivery bag. Will definitely be going back to try the Saturday menu. Thank you!!!

Without doubt the best take away I have had, in fact, I would say one of the best meals I have had anywhere.
Service was amazing, delivery was a few minutes early (which was a bonus). The portions filled 2 plates, (shared, not second helpings). If you are local and looking for something different and delicious treat yourself.

Wonderful gem of a takeaway. Plenty of food and delicious tasting. I’m a big eater and more than enough for me. Food was tasty and fresh and plenty left over for lunch tomorrow. Roti bread was beautiful too. You do need to order a day in advance but we’ll worth it. Super friendly service and better than any takeawa6 in Durham City. They should open a restaurant. 10/10 and I rarely say that.
