McDonald's

The server who served us was treat really badly by the person in front of us, and still served us with a smile. Even went out of his way to get barbecue sauce for us. I put a four for the food because... well, its macdonalds, the food is fast, but thats what you go there for so there's not much to complain about. I'm over emotional right now and I actually almost cried when I saw the two packets of barbecue sauce on our tray when it was brought out to us. I don't particularly like barbecue sauce, it was my mothers request, but out of respect for the effort that server put in, I ate my chips with barbecue sauce today. Didn't read his name tag, but thank you, whoever you are. That little gesture made my day.

Visited Durham yesterday and had to pull into the carpark to wait for our food. The guy that brought our food Lok Man was so friendly, kind and helpful and couldn't have done enough when I realised I had made a mistake on the order. This lad needs recognition for this, keep up the good work you were amazing :)

The day was grim, and as the drizzle covered my bestfriend’s car’s windshield i couldnt help but wonder: is this what life is about? cheeseburgers, chips, medium sized cokes… is this what capitalism is about? or is it about the connection between customers and service people? ashden and i made a connection almsot immediatly. Day made. His service was 11/10.
Upon pulling up to stall 4… we were greated by our food. Amazing and delectable. Perfect for a grim durham day. Despite missing cheeseburgers my companion swiftly entered Mcdonalds… secured the bag (cheeseburgers) and brought the biggest present of all … 2 pots of ketchup. Alhamdullilah.

Spotlessly clean, very friendly staff, till rolls in every self order checkout, One of the best maccus I've been in the north east.

Mint as ever who doesn't like a Lovely Milk shake some fries and a burger.

Big order for work and could only order 37 items on the app, asked for some sauces and they came back with a bag full

Was served on 9/12/23 at 4:20pm by a lovely young lad on the counter. Unfortunately didn’t catch his name but he might remember me as the girl who wanted lots of extra gherkins. This boy went above and beyond and demonstrated exceptional customer service skills. Noticed him being lovely with other customers too. I never write reviews but someone really needs to commend this lad for his politeness and care. Thank you so much to him! Made my day.

Visited here previously. Sat inside, Food was prompt. One tiny error that was rectorified quickly.

We come here regularly but today we decided to eat in and overheard a few exchanges with staff and customers. We both couldn't help but notice that the staff were above and beyond helpful. They just seemed to go the extra mile.
In the past we've had the odd issue with orders on the self serve and again the staff jump into action putting things right.

Probably best customer service of ANY other McDonald's I've ever been to

Great stop off after a full day working in the area. This restaurant was clean, had table service and the food came out quickly. McDonalds is a bit of a guilty pleasure but this visit was definitely worthwhile :)

Excellent for a quick bite to eat. Good customer service and food is served hot and quickly. Clean and tidy inside.

Went about 11:30pm, Saturday 26 March.
Ordered a Big Tasty. Never had one before, it was hot, full of burger, bacon and salad 🥗 and above all...super tasty.
I'd definitely recommend it.

Good location, easy access, outside of city centre and within 2 mile off the A1. Coffee can be hit and miss here sometimes its cold, sometimes given a medium when I ordered a large. Drive thru is reasonably quick. Instore service is slower. Staff are friendly.

Extremely busy but served quickly, pleasant staff who were working at full pace, give them a bonus McDonald's they deserve it.

Last friday we decided to order mcdd at the arnison. Whilst sat in the carpark. Selected arnison. Sat 25 minutes waiting for our food. Go inside. The app had reselected dragon lane. Even on clicking we're here it didnt say its usual not your location crack. Arnison where like 'there's nothing we can do'. Drive through to dragon lane. Getting stressed by this point £30 spent on food. Thinking it's gone to the wrong car etc etc. Get there. The staff where blummin ace. They said they'd had it waiting 30 minutes for us. Did they gave us the bag. Nope. They made it fresh because they didnt want us eaten 30 minute cold food. Couldn't of been nicer. Will 100% be choosing this mcds in the future x
