This was a spare of the moment booking. And have to say the owners where fantastic checked us in early and where super friendly perfect for this environment always happy to chat and enjoyed great banter. We spent time on the beach which was a stones throw. Breakfast was fantastic. This was a lovely break to get us set up for the bank holiday at our park. Well done to the owners and the lovely staff who supplied the refreshments we needed.

Absolutely beautiful! Could not recommend this hotel more. The staff are so friendly and warm, makes the whole stay so welcoming. The breakfast each morning was outstanding, special shout out to the acai bowl!! The bed is so comfy in the rooms and the sea view was beautiful despite the rain. Definitely will revisit, made our first visit to bude so memorable for all the right reasons.

Absolutely loved this place. Family run with a relaxed and welcoming feel.

Bude town, beach and sea pool has easy accessibility from here and couldn't be easier. Great for access and walking the coastal path too.

The food was excellent, great portion sizes, beautifully cooked and a lovely mix of flavours. Breakfast was included and well worth it.

If you're a couple, there was a lovely table in the restaurant (table 4 when we were there), little bay window with a view, nice and cosy whilst you watch the world go by.

We stayed in room 10 with a separate lounge and bedroom.

Another awesome stay here. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Great location close to Summerleaze beach and the town centre. Lovely rooms, with great sea views. Amazing staff. The Deck restaurant is a must, be sure to book.

I cannot begin to say how lovely, brilliant and absolutely fantastic hotel is. Not only are the staff here amazing and absolutely wonderful, the family which runs the business is absolutely lovely and my heart goes out especially to Emma for helping us out, as well to the lady who told me my wetsuit was on the wrong way and found our key when it went down the sofa!

The Deck, which is also ran by the family and same staff and offers the breakfast (exclusive to hotel members unfortunately) and dinner services, as well as bar services in the hotel as well. The Deck is also lovely as well and I have rated it too! Lunch is not served at the Deck sadly.

Onto the rooms! So, the place is all in all lovely and the beds are quite good, however they are a little springy. The bathrooms we had were en-suite and small, but they still were amazing. The only thing I will say is that some of the rooms are a little packed in, and me and others knocked our knees on the beds a few times. All in all, this place is amazing!

It is also important to note that there are quiet times in the hotel where it is closed and checkout is offered during some of these times! It allows for you to have a nice rest and relax in the hotel as well!

We attended a wedding here this weekend. It was fabulous. Staff go above and beyond & are very friendly & helpful. We had a room on the top floor at the back but this didn't bother us. The room was clean and bright. There is tea/coffee making facilities and you get fresh milk. Toiletries are provided & there are large wrap around towels. Excellent.

We really enjoyed our 2 nights stay. Giving us a welcome rest from walking the SWCP. Our room was fabulous. Both nights we dined in The Deck restaurant which is part of this hotel. Excellent food and beverages. The staff were great, being family owned.
Highly recommend.

This is lovely hotel ran by Emma and her team, we come back year on year! The rooms are comfortable, clean and have excellent views (well the one we stay in on the front does at least).

The breakfast menu has something for everyone and the quality is top drawer plus the restaurant and bar provide a nice place to chill out and eat/drink in an evening.

The restaurant is always busy, even with people not staying at the hotel, which can only be a good sign!

Well recommended! 😀

Great location, with the Deck bar looking out over the sea. Our room was immaculately clean with everything that we needed and the staff were all fantastic and very welcoming. Would absolutely recommend as it's central location meant we didn't have to drive once during our stay.

Great location, very friendly. Stayed in a room for 2 adults plus one teenager for a couple of nights. Room size is fine with full beds. Deck restaurant food was excellent and good choice of beer. Can walk to the beach and Bude sea pool in a few mins.

Stayed here for 2 nights and on arrival was greeted by a very warm
welcome. The room was very clean and cosy and the bed was comfortable. Great location, with shops around the corner and a short walk to the beach. The food was fantastic, one of the best egg royal. Suggest prebooking for evening meal. The staff have been amazing, would definitely come back.

Lovely friendly family run hotel with views of the sea, ideally located. Staff were marvelous, made you feel instantly welcome and couldn't do enough to help.
Our seaview room was spacious, with a comfy bed and table at the bay window for enjoying the view. The shower room was clean and made good use of the available space. I especially liked that the toiletries were organic and local. I also liked that the hotel has a no plastic policy so our floor has a fridge with milk for tea and coffee.
We had dinner on our first night, the seafood hanging skewers with sweet potato fries were excellent - I loved the little buckets of spiced butter to paint on your food, and the churros afterwards were perfectly hot, crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside.
Breakfast offered an unusual variety and I was delighted to see boiled eggs and soldiers on the menu. The eggs Benedict hubby said was delicious, the eggs poached just right. Some breakfast items have a small supplement.
We really liked it here, and will come back.

Wonderful family operated hotel, always a warm welcome and made to feel at home. The rooms are clean and fresh with all the amenities available.
A freshly cooked breakfast is made to order and the restaurant is very popular with the locals, which is always a good recommendation.
The location and view is brilliant.
Definitely worth a visit or, in my case, several visits.

Just had a deck board. Fantastic food, excellently prepared and served by lovely people. A real hidden gem in North Cornwall and so family orientated. Book a table to avoid disappointment. Kids had a chicken burger again excellently prepared.
