Hobbycraft Gateshead

I absolutely love Hobbycraft.
I go in for one or two Items and I come out with more .
My go to Art shop as it is all under one roof.
Staff are helpful if you are looking for a particular item.

Only needed to go in once for Bubble-wrap but it was a very friendly atmosphere when I entered. The two staff members I interacted with yesterday were so kind, helpful and pleasant to speak to.
The overall vibe was nice and homely too, you can tell both the patrons and employees had real passion for the crafting hobby.
Highly recommend you visit if you want to take up Arts and Crafts

Crafters paradise. Visited with my grandchildren. Lots of projects for them . Lots of sale items for them to choose from .
I, of course, couldn't resist the odd purchase. The staff are friendly and helpful.
I even went home and purchased online which was an efficient process too.

Fantastic amount of merchandise. Easy to find the items we wanted and a wide choice available. Will definitely visit again.

Always an offer and great items over all arty ideas. Great place. (And get a loyalty card, it's worth it.)

Shop is always tidy and well organised. Has a huge selection of arts and crafts supplies. Friendly and helpful staff. Is fairly priced, not the cheapest place for supplies but definitely a good selection and decent quality.

Went specifically for 'crackle medium', couldn't find it, asked a member of staff who was very happy to take us directly to where it was and pointed out the different makes. An absolute Aladdin's cave of crafting goodies for those inclined to either knit, sew, paint, make things or simply dabble in a little crafting with the kids. It may not be the cheapest place, I have found the same items online cheaper, but the selection is fabulous and the staff are friendly.

I've had a right hassle (supplier problems, not Hobbycraft)trying to get a particular yarn for my project . But the staff have gone above and beyond to locate some for me. I still haven't got the yarn, but I'm very impressed and grateful to the staff. Highly recommend.

Love this store. Loads of interesting hobbies to explore and their "inspiration board" by the stairs gives some nice crafting ideas. Only wish they had a bathroom so I could spend longer in there.

Prompt friendly service. Found everything I was looking for.

Everything I needed for my very first sewing project was in store, some of it in the sale too. Staff were friendly and helpful.
