Morrisons Cafe

I had an absolutely amazing breakfast here yesterday. Smashed Avacado on Sourdough bread with butter, 2 x Poached eggs with added 2 x rashers of bacon and a grilled tomatoe. I had a Mocha to wash it all down with. I couldn't fault the service here yesterday, I used the self service order and checkout machine and it was very simple and easy to use. They have good coffee machines here and again are very simple and easy to use. They were busy when I visited, however the service was quick and of good quality. Well done to the brown/black haired lady who was running food yesterday at roughly 11:30 - 12:00, although rushed and busy she remained professional and polite as she served my food. And compliments to the chef!! I enjoyed my breakfast fully.

Generally the cleanliness, atmosphere, service and quality is much better here than it is over in Middlesbrough. (Last time I visited) and I can see myself coming back again very soon.

Covid security here feels very good, hand sanitiser stations are outside as you walk into the supermarket and again as you walk into the Cafè area, all staff wearing masks.

eventually he got through his .
He made a ... meal of it though...
less than 12quid i think .
Taste better when its my colleague turn to pay.

Ordered breakfast, came in good time but barely edible. Place is dirty too.

My Favourite Shop, never recovered after Covid, I hope they recover the quality they once had, i miss their star quality

Decided that my wife and I would have a meal here..... disappointed.
When I asked for the veggie pie the counter assistant said I'm not sure that we have any.When I replied that I'm happy for her to check ,she disappeared into the kitchen shouting" have we any veggie pies.Im sorry to say that they didn't and apparently haven't had any for a few days.!!! Don't put them on the menu if you can't supply them .

Arrived to find the electronic order point out of action so slightly longer queue than normal. Restaurant was chaotic, no trays or menus left at start of queue. Found a seat reasonably easy although most empty tables were in need of a wipe down.

Cutlery in the trays was pretty dirty.

Staff were friendly enough and food was ok.

We visited this cafe for a bite to eat before doing some shopping in store, (we usually do) it was approximately 2pm they had no fish & chips so I got scampi & chips my hubby had pie & chips, I was very disappointed with my meal the chips were cool in temperature & I must have got the last in the bag as they were what I would describe as the scraps, peas were cool. Overall not a good experience. At that time of day I expected them to have what I wanted in the first place. I do not recommend this place, its not our usual shop we go to but will not visit it again. Staff were polite but food terrible.

Not enough staff those 2 brothers who bought it clearly don’t care about customers or staff. Cutlery if there is any, lays in old food debris, cups have tide marks, tables are filthy, it’s really unclean.

Me and the other half left our food and went elsewhere. We go to our local morrisons cafe frequently and it's lovely. This was vile. Both got a cheese and bacon omelette which was dripping in fat. Chips hard and dry, sat there a while obviously and I couldn't even touch my coffee. His hot choc tasted just of milk

Not enough staff. The cafe is constantly short on everything i.e. cups, teapots, sauces, suger teaspoons etc. I had to sent my grandads egg & chips back 3 times today. Every week its getting worse. My grandad is a man of habit so continues to go. Morrisons your Big enough help your staff out! Would definetly NOT recommend at this point.

Terrible. We pop in now and again to our local but we were nearer to this one. 45 minute wait with a 3 year old, turns out our order was sent to the wrong table. Ordered beef lasagne and this was sent to a vegan! Terrible service far too long of a wait for basic food had to leave a review...

Useless breakfast. Fried egg was hard. Beans were cold even after I returned them. By this time the rest of my breakfast was cold. Sat waiting for the refund.

Friendly service but there's always something wrong. Forgotten the toast, forgotten the black pudding, the drinks are warm etc etc

Waste of time.

Cafe. would not go again as food is not up to much and not organised food was cold no cups and spoons very disappointed
