Love the food here. Food comes out pretty quickly also. Staff are friendly..
Only thing that let's this amazing place down is its location. That's up a flight of stairs and completely inaccessible for those with disabilities!

Had a lovely meal with my wife & son. Food was delicious and was presented really well.

Food is absolutely delicious, will recommend to all my friends.
Went there again tonight. Sam and Chloe are very friendly and attentive.
Will definitely be back

I've eaten in here a few times. I'm always happy with the food, service and ambience.
It's just a shame that there is no disabled access now that the main town car park has been closed.
I recommend the owners relocate to a downstairs venue, possibly one that is bigger, accommodates more guests and has parking.

Great food and service, it was very quiet but that wasn't an issue for us.

We used the special offer they currently have available, attending is difficult for those with physical difficulties (an issue caused by the town centre and not the restaurant).

The food as always is the best Indian on the town, we arrived around 35 minutes after ordering and waited no more than 10 more minutes to receive our food which was so hot my passenger couldnt keep it on their lap.

Ordered curry with usual accompaniments for tea yesterday and was told the usual it will be delivered in about 40 minutes. 10 minutes later the delivery guy arrived!!!? I’d rang about 5.15pm and he said as there weren’t any other orders in they’d cooked it straight away. Wow! It was hot, fresh and tasted gorgeous. We ate the lot and were stuffed full. Definitely be using Elachi again 👌

I've loved this restaurant for years - but I've not been here since I have been a vegan (about a year) - the menu says just explain what your dietary requirements are and we'll accommodate. They certainly did; superb, friendly and knowledgeable waiting staff and flexible chefs made tonight so delicious and so special. Amazing. I wasn't sure how my vegan Elachi experience would be - but it's been wonderful. Thoroughly recommended to omnivores, herbivores and carnivores.

Quick delivery and brilliant food. Not ate in for a long time so can’t comment on restaurant service.

Booked for a family birthday, 11 of us. Have to say Elatchi is back to its best. Great food, decent portions. Pleasant staff. Well done!

Myself and better half went for a meal last night lucky enough to get a table during the meal deal. Could not have been more impressed. Service was great really pleasant and helpful staff. The food was plentiful and really high quality in fact couldnt eat it all.
Will definetly go again even after the meal deal it would be good value.

Just had my meal and all I can say is absolutely brilliant 10 out of 10 never let me down always top quality Indian food. I have followed the owner from restaurant to restaurant as he has moved from his original in Spennymoor in the 1980's always presents great quality food thanks. 👍

Fabulous Indian food - my favourite Indian restaurant in the area. Food very good value for what you get, tasty food and lots of it! Haven’t tried the buffet yet. They do takeaway too. Drinks a little on the expensive side though.

Beautifull Meal! To cheap for there own good to be honest! Food was perfect! The ladies who served us were lovely and polite. 5 stars!!

Have now recieved a 5* food hygiene rating which I'm very happy to hear!! Food is very nice, so glad to see they have sorted out whatever was of concern. Best Indian in Aycliffe.

My favourite Indian Restaurant. I've been going there for years. There's a really nice atmosphere about the place, the food is excellent and I always eat way too much of it. I've had party's in there a number of times and they always go out of their way to provide a top experience.

Am here tonight for the buffet. Lots of choice for everyone and all the curries had their own distinctive individual taste not like they had all come out of the same pot. Even made me mango lassi which was beautiful.
Came last week on Tuesday a non buffet night and shared the special meal with my friend.
The value of this was amazing and all the food tremendoue. My friend is a curry guru and could not fault it said it was the best dhansak outside of India he had eaten.
