Chadwick & Co. - Coffee House and Kitchen

Valentines day lunch. Confusion reigned when we arrived, we had booked but there was no indication from staff where we should sit and we were not asked who we were. We just picked a free table and from then on the staff were fine and attentive. It can be a noisy place with quite an echo if children are present!
The food choice is limited to a Greek menu and I had the Beef kofta in tomato sauce with hummus, tzatziki, salad and flatbread. It was extremely tasty and well presented.
The view from the restaurant can be very green due to the surrounding trees and the sedum roof.

We always enjoy visiting Chadwick and co. The ingredients they use are very high quality and are locally sourced. Everything on the menu is tasty and all the staff are welcoming and brilliant too.

Went for breakfast. Menu was fab, staff lovely. Didn't have lunch, but the menu looked lovely. Will definitely visit again.

Delicious vegan lunch today here today at Chadwick & Co on Teesside Park. The staff are really friendly and there’s a nice relaxed atmosphere. Great to pop into if you’re shopping in Barker & Stonehouse or just passing by. Recommended!

Lovely little cafe/coffee house inside Barker and Stonehouse. The full english breakfast was delicious. All homemade produce even down to the homemade house ketchup. We were very impressed with the food quality and portion sizes. With quick and friendly service it's definitely worth a visit.

First time I have been here and I was not disappointed. Lots of dishes to choose from, staff were lovely and so was the food. The chocolate brownie was one of the best I have ever had!

This rather civilised cafe is located on the top floor mezzanine within Barker & Stonehouse at Teesside Park. I visited just after opening, at 1020 on a Tuesday, and the place was already buzzing with activity.

The table service was quick and the waitresses were polite. The breakfast makes a nice change from what is usually available in the area - a greasy spoon this is not!

Everything was homemade, including the baked beans, ketchup, and the lorne sausage. Two fried eggs were cooked to perfection and overall the food was beautifully presented, hot, and very tasty.

The peaceful setting of the mezzanine was isolated from the noise of the shop below and the exterior glass walls allowed in ample sunshine to brighten my morning - very relaxing. A welcome contrast to your typical “hole in the wall” type establishment.

I have a big appetite and the portions were more than adequate. The only downside was the price - £15 for one breakfast and a coffee - although I feel this is quite fair for the high quality of food and service received.

Gorgeous food bit pricey but worth it. The Persian curry was so tasty 😋

Upstairs from Barker & Stonehouse in Teesside Park might seem an unlikely venue for an excellent restaurant, however the food is first class and undoubtedly one of the best eateries on Teesside. An interesting and varied menu, never fails to impress.

This is not just a cafe or coffee house in a furniture store, this is gourmet food. We have enjoyed Sunday lunch here for the last two weeks, which has been fabulous. The only difference in the two visits is we seemed to have more beef along with Gratin which was missing on the first visit. There are many gourmet pubs and restaurants in the area which could learn from this standard although at £17.50 a head for the beef alone, not the cheapest. With a drink, a gorgeous pudding and Service compris you are into £30/head. Situated on its own top floor in an expansive open store makes it a very pleasant environment. And you can bring your dog! Civilised.

We went for brunch. We were seated quickly and the waitress was prompt and attentive. We both ordered the full English breakfast from the morning menu. It was hands down the best full English I've ever had. All the items were perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. It had a side of thickly sliced bread which I think was sourdough. The coffee was also tasty and it was nice to be able to get decaff in any type of coffee. I'd highly recommend this place.

Excellent very welcoming staff , Food and drinks sublime, Very clean and really well maintained in side 🙂 No faults whatsoever. Will definitely be returning

Really good coffee (lots of choices) and food. Not cheap and there can be a queue to be seated, but worth it.

It was big pleasure to sit at summer terrace, eating very delicious food with beautiful serving. We spent around £20 pre person. I do recommend this place 😍

Great place to grab a coffee. I often visit with a friend who has autism and the staff are great. Very patient and considerate. Food is fabulous, always fresh and well made.

Fantastic food. Mediterranean and middle Eastern inspired. Had Persian curry with dips & homemade bread and Cumin spiced beef with aubergine. Both were superb especially the beef. Washed down with a mango lassi, perfect. Never mind the Barker and Stonehouse furniture, I would come back just for the food! Friendly staff & chef also comes out to meet the customers. Have been here before for cakes & they too were lovely & unusual flavours

This really is a top notch place to eat. The coffee is one of the top few places in the northeast and the food is always great.

Watch out for the gigantic cake portions.

Lovely place for lunch and apparently they also do really fine breakfasts. I had smoked mackerel pate on sourdough toast. Generous portion and we both had the apple crumble dessert which was amazing ! Lovely, attentive waitress . Good choice of dishes and drinks . Little gem in a busy trading estate. Highly recommended

Recently got a takeaway from Chadwick & Co and it was faultless. We ordered a few pizzas, Greek cook chips and a few desserts to share. Everything was delicious, seriously surpassed my expectations. Was very obvious that all the ingredients were fresh and high quality, and the pizza bases had a lovely subtle smokey taste from being homemade. Favourite was the salumi blue. The chocolate brownie was also excellent - one of the best I’ve tried (and I’ve tried a few!)

Chicken gyros is beautiful. Had the winter fruit bakewell tart for dessert. Fantastic service, beautiful setting. Top marks all round.
