Absolutely brilliant restaurant. Always get a warm welcome and staff very friendly and polite.
£25 for the Abba tribute band AND buffet which was definitely worth it.

Returned Sunday for a roast and the chef was more than happy to accommodate dietary requirements.

Will be back again.

I had the BBQ pulled pork burger and it was on if the best burgers I’ve ever had. The pork was cooked perfectly and the bun was freshly made. I was able to opt for vegan cheese which was great.

Lovely, very accommodating, relaxed restaurant/pub. It truly does manage to blend the two of those together very well - with a proper bar feel downstairs, as well as extensive (and characterful) restaurant seating upstairs. Good beer and interesting local cider (very good!). Large menu choice, food very tasty (I had the hot and meaty home-prepared pizza - delicious!), portion size generous, and prices reasonable. Definitely worth a visit!

Lovely food, lovely staff. Would highly recommend dropping in, definitely worth checking out what is on the specials menu. Loaded fries were incredible.
Also if you head to the bar and say '#purplemoose' you get 1 free pint😅 love that.

I think that could quite possibly be the best burger I’ve ever had.

I had the bbq chicken burger which was lightly breaded chicken with a rich bbq sauce, lettuce, crispy bacon (that was actually crispy the whole way through), and then mozzarella cheese in a bun that I can only describe as a fresh warm bread roll out of the oven!

Would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area!

A lunch stopover on our way through. Great pint of Butty, I had the Mill burger, best burger I've had in a long time, best chips ever, they were like butterfly cut and crunchy outer but soft inside. Coleslaw was purple and creamy. Girlfriend had the pulled pork pizza, she was amazed too at the flavours. Nice place to eat.

Super friendly barman and lovely food, the homemade buttermilk chicken was TATSY - perfect for a quick bite and a pint ✌

Fantastic food. We had an amazing Karaoke evening on Saturday. Thankyou landlord and landlady plus staff for a brilliant evening. Will definitely be back!!

Just had a fabulous Sunday lunch, everything was fresh and freshly cooked. Meat was gorgeous. Highly recommend. Staff very friendly, nothing too much trouble.

This place is amazing!
Where it is based there really isn’t a lot around as it is rural. We were working in the area and fancied some pub lunch so we went to take a lot and it quickly became our everyday go to.
The landlord and his wife are friendly and make good conversation to make you feel at home
The food is very reasonably priced and is very good. We have ate a fair bit of the menu but the specials menu is the one to go for or the recommendations from the chef.
We will be sorry when our work in the area comes to an end, however we still have a little while yet! 👍🏼

Amazing meal and super friendly staff. Great Covid measures. I can thoroughly recommend the burger... honestly the best I have ever eaten!! Garlic bread was delicious and huge too!

Stopped for a quick cider after a little rambling. Staff were very friendly and the pub very cosy and done up with attention to detail.

We stayed on the campsite next door, lovely place. On the Saturday lunchtime we went to the Mill for a drink and to book a table for the evening. As it was my wife's birthday, I asked the landlord if he could rustle something up for her, like a cake or such like. He said he was flat out and at such short notice he didn't think so. So, we went for our evening meal and it was absolutely amazing. Great quality and far too much for even me to eat!! After our meal, the landlord and his wife came up the stairs with a beautiful chocolate cake singing happy birthday. What a surprise, the cake was fantastic with candles and everything. We were completely blown away that he'd gone to all that trouble just for a cake that he made that very afternoon. I didn't get their names but I just want to thank the husband and wife team at The Mill Pub for making my wife's birthday meal extra special. Thanks guys, we'll be back sometime soon. Anybody wanting to go to The Mill Pub, don't think about it, DO IT, the food and staff are incredible. 10/10 from us.

Stayed in our tourer over the weekend and booked table for 4 for evening meal. Was pleasantly surprised! In my experience some on-site restaurants can be less than impressive! Service was good. Food was excellent, if a little on the large size! Room was extremely hot but the UK is experiencing a heat wave so they did what they could! Tried the guest cocktail too. Pricing is just right.

Turned up at Mill to find food had finished for the day.the owner was an absolute star he had turned all the kitchen off but turned the fryer back on so we could have chips ,I cheekly said have you got any bread with that and he delivered the chips with bread and butter to the table, now that's what you call going above and beyond so I give them a 5 star for doing the best he could. thank you ever so much
