The Company Shop

Although the stock changes frequently, I love the fact that there is a good choice of items available. This shop allows those who need help with their shopping to buy food at a fraction of the price as this is a surplus shop for members. The staff are always friendly. There are a good amount of parking spaces too.

Company shop is located on the old British federal estate and is a brand new building with a lot of space.
Getting to company shop is easy to get to. From Birmingham or Wolverhampton direction it's on the a4123 Birmingham new road and is literally a stones throw from black Country museum so it's easy to locate.
With large security fencing, the car park is quite large and always more than enough space no matter what time you go there.
To shop there, you have to be a member and not everyone can be accepted. You have to either work in certain sectors or be in receipt of certain benefits to be accepted.
Once inside, it's very large and spacious with very helpful, friendly staff who we help you should you need to. There's always someone on hand to help no matter what it is.
The quality of goods is very high, and 99% of the goods are always well in date with some great deals always on display.
They sell a lot of branded items as well as shop own brand at really cheap prices that's suitable for everyone's pocket.
You have to go regularly as deals change all the time with new stock arriving all the time and they don't stay on the shelves for long either.
It's well worth a visit to see what's for sale on that day wether it's fresh food or tinned or toiletries.
If your looking to see if they stock certain things, give them a ring first.

Attended today after seeing tiktok videos showing the shop, have to say was pleasantly surprised. Good selection of stuff at hard to beat prices, picked up a box of walkers/doritos 90 packets essentially for £5. Absolutely incredible.

Not everything is super cheap. certain items are cheaper in your normal big branded supermarkets.

Nevertheless its worth going to get some bargains

Maybe we went on a bad day...I dunno. Some bargains here tbf. Very spacious. Very clean. A little hyped in the media but still you'll have to try it once.

The staff are always cheerful and pleasant! !! There are some genuine bargains to be had sometimes and everything they sell is cheaper than the main supermarkets!!! Thanks for being so nice 😊

Decent shop, glad I signed up, it's on the route on my way home from work. The last time I went I got 3 multipacks of Walkers ridged crisps for 75p.

You can get some good bargains depending on what you're looking for. I do Google the price of some items and yes they are discounted by a fair amount. Shame the shop on Coventry rd in Birmingham closed down. Maybe open one near chelmsley wood or kingstanding.

People are so lovely and friendly in her, staff friendly and helpful. Other customers are very lovely in here, always had a positive experience when I come I'm here

Depends when you go no 2 days have same offer you need to be early and quick to get best bargains

Really good shop to pop into. You never know what bargains they've got from one day to the next. Every day will be something new and they're really cheap! Sign up for free if you work for NHS/care services/front line or if you're on benefits BUT you can also become a member if someone you know already has a card, they can nominate a friend or family member for membership too! No matter what work sector you're in. Lots of fresh meat, fresh produce fruit, veg, fridge stuff. Freezer stuff. Alcohol, tinned and packaged produce even toiletries. Toilets in store. Very clean and nice wide aisles. Great place to pop in daily, open from 8am until 8pm with lots of free parking.. brilliant! Only downside some staff can be rude at times and waiting in line to be served can be a while as they only have minimal tills on.

Good range of discounted products friendly staff and not too crowded

What a great idea, taking excess supermarket stock and selling it for massively discounted prices!! Love the idea of trying to reduce waste. If you can get a membership card would highly recommend

Well laid out and usually very clean. Staff very friendly. Sometimes the offers could be labelled a bit clearer. 10% off today but some empty shelves. Still good bargains though
