Asda Sedgley Superstore

I visit Asda weekly and use the. Sedgley Branch which is local to me. I have ALWAYS found the staff there to be friendly and helpful however, at my visit at 9.00pm last night, 3 of the staff there went over and above their job role. I had walked into the store feeling the on set of cramp in my one leg. By the time I reached the tinned goods Isle, I had developed full blown cramp. I don't know how many people suffer with this, but it's the worst thing in the world. It's like you have no control of your limb and the spasm locks in and you can't move and the pain is just awful. Add that to shopping and it's not a good mix. A kind shopper who witnessed my distress got help for me and within seconds 2 lovely Asda staff members came to my aid. Once they knew the situation, they brought me a chair and a bottle of water, one stayed with me throughout. It started to ease and I was able to limp to the cash point where the lady at the till kindly loaded my bags for me. The other 2 ladies stayed with me, supporting and reassuring me all the time. They said I could rest up there, they asked if I wanted the first aider. I needed to get home so declined these kind offers. They did not charge me for the bottled water they gave to me. I was so grateful for them just being there. It was such a scary moment, but they helped me through it and I got home safely. I am sorry I did not remember their name badges, but they know who they are, including the lovely lady who got their attention for me. THANK YOU SO MUCH LADIES. You are a credit to Asda.

Always polite helpful staff. Plenty of choice. Prices as to be expected,on par with other supermarkets. Staff always very busy,but always willing to help find items for you in store. Thank you all!

Great store for the floor space available. You can't get every ASDA branded item, but you can get everything you need.
Staff friendly and helpful, the security guy is a really nice person (shout out to him!).

Great place, spacious parking, cash machine available near entrance. Happy to shop or pop up here.

Great store including a clothing and housewares section. Easy parking and pleasant staff. All infection protection guidelines were being adhered to by the staff making it a safe place to shop.

Well laid out store. Caters for most requirements. Friendly, polite, helpful staff. Lots of parking spaces. Cash point ATM machines. Variety of garden & indoor plants.

I suffer with COPD & the lady at click & collect saw I was struggling & put my shopping in bags & boot of car. A very big thank you much appreciated.

I think it is good to have Asda in sedgley it cheaper yes it doesn’t have every thing but that’s because it’s small but you expect that with a small store.the only thing is they haven’t got a cafe or seats outside to sit wile waiting for lift or taxi

One of the best Asda's for shopping experience. Nice and bright lots of stock for a smaller store. Could easily do your weeks shopping there albeit with a few compromises.

Great selection and very convenient. At busy times, parking is difficult, but that's one negative.
