Update: New self-service checkouts have been installed recently.

Aldi has great produce. The bread smells very fresh always when compared with the bigger supermarkets. The price point is always a lot more affordable when compared to others. We started shopping at Aldi during the lockdown, and we have not looked back since then. The bread from Aldi tastes better as well. The only point I'll like to raise is that Aldi could consider uplifting the look and feel of their stores.

Great value...M&S quality food on most lines..very friendly and helpful staff...our regular supermarket always!

Visited Aldi today to buy some of their really tasty Marzipan Stollen Cakes. Always well stocked. A very busy shop every tyI have visited

New to this area and thus Aldi, great selection of food especially the fresh items, staff friendly and helpful more so from where I came from.

Good range of products. Good assortment of fruit and veg. Nice wine selection. Fantastic charcuterie, cheese, olive and hummus products. Wonderful whole foods section that includes dried fruits, nuts and seeds. Less expensive than other stores. I highly recommend.

Friendly, funny and helpful staff. In particularly the friendly guy with Auburn hair and beard who is always talking and singing. Love this guy 😄

Great festive and seasonal produce including pumpkins in October, Xmas products from September to January, Easter eggs in March and April.

Large wine, spirit and liquor section for half the price of the other supermarkets but double the quality. Highly recommended.

Good range of cleaning products.

Wide range of baby products including wipes.

Good to know this store always has a discount section as you walk in. Reduced fruit and veg. It also now has reduced bread and other products near the bread section. Food in perfect condition but reduced as it is near it's use-by-date I assume. Really helpful for people who might be struggling during this cost of living crisis. Thank you Aldi.

Much better with the fast self service tills

One of the best fruits stores in the UK.

This is a very basic Aldi store, but still you should be able to get what you need if you regularly shop at Aldi. They do seem to have problems with replenishing their stock at this particular store, as often the shelves are empty, especially on their most popular items. The store is mostly clean and the new self-service checkouts make things faster than before. The staff there often complain of staff shortages and sometimes the checkouts are unmanned. So you may find that only the self-service tills are available.
Also they do have a problem with beggars directly outside the front door and you do find that you are accosted as you enter and exit the store. Obviously it's a good thing to give to the homeless, But sometimes these beggars do not give you the opportunity to say no as they are directly in your face. The store security, seems to make no effort to move them on or to clear the entrance.
There is ample parking but the car park is on a time limit with a no return policy so do check the sign out to avoid fines.

Loads of great prices on quality food. Queues are insane but I guess it's the fact it's considerably cheaper than others and some for the exact same items! Definitely better to go early morning when less people and more variety of food is out.

Affordable and good quality / variety of products, plenty of free parking near the shop or towards the back if you want to be away from other cars. Trolleys and baskets always available and usually well stocked

Prices have gone up but its a decent supermarket.

Staff were lovely & very cheerful. Good range of food and some cheaper deals than morrisons & tesco ( fruit was practically the same price). Will definitely shop here again.

Staff are always friendly. They got used to me going in, with my arm in plaster!!😕😊 The security man helped me pack my bags,when he saw me struggling. Which was lovely & a great help. Sometimes looks like a war zone, with empty boxes everywhere. Good prices, big savings. Definitely recommend to friends & family.

Was ok, checkout was good, products and produce were fine.

Can’t go wrong I need food they have food it’s a win win and one of the managers there Kirsten was super amazing and helped me and my mother out soo much she deserves a raise such a lovely person

Lots of bargains, plenty of choice and prices are on the whole better than the big 4 supermarkets.
Clean and tidy, loads of trollies and was able to get parked with no problem.
All round winner !!
