Great shop with plenty of stock and a wide range of building and general household materials available. Helpful staff and plenty of parking

Visited the Burgess Hill store, I don’t think I have ever experienced such good customer service in my life. Every staff member went above and beyond and were all incredibly helpful. Especially the lovely guy who helped load all the bathroom tiles I had chosen then I changed my mind and he unloaded them all and helped me with new tiles. Top marks to all of the staff working at Burgess Hill today 6/5/23.

Good and large store in a great location in Burgess Hill, I will start using it much more. I've used Wickes for years, primarily in Brighton & Hove. There's always a good range of products with good availability. I think Wickes tends to be used a lot by trades people as they have a lot of suitable building/repair/maintenance products and it's a no nonsense, straightforward shop. Prices depend on the type of products but generally they are very slightly cheaper than other stores - but not always. They have a good website with options for delivery and click & collect which is handy to buy and reserve your items. They also have a big parking area outside which is ideal for cars, vans and any larger vehicles. They accept all major credit cards including Amex which is good for business accounts. Happy overall and will use them again. There's also a food & coffee van concession outside in the car park but I haven't tried them yet, handy if you're busy and need a quick bite.

More for the tradesman then diy, because of this there is more of what you need and less of what you don’t need bulking up the shelves like you would see in b&q for example. I rate wicks and their prices highly

Went there yesterday Aug 1st. Excellent safe guarding measures in place: very friendly welcoming member of staff on entrance who sanitised trolleys and asked us all to wait in queue very politely.
Member of staff (female) I asked for help regarding purchase was very helpful and informed.
Young man on check out was very efficient, friendly and helpful.
Excellent shopping experience.

Kitchen fitted 3 years ago and therefore out of warranty but when I phoned asking if I could buy a replacement door handle for one where the surface had rubbed off, they sent me a replacement free of charge :-)
Very pleased with the kitchen generally, too. There were a couple of issues during the fitting (a dropped oven unit and a leak under the sink) but those were also dealt with immediately and professionally; so, all in all, a good experience.

Ordered click and collect there was a customer in front of me getting a bit mardy with the guy behind the till and then the manager. Very well handled !!

Very polite, helpful staff, good prices, not to expensive, and a large range of products, when looking for a decent shop to purchase all DIY style goods, you can't get much better, well worth a trip.....✌

Wickes is doing a fab job by opening its doors and letting the trade get the stuff it needs. A one way system and queuing means means its slightly frustrating but well done for helping me get access to building materials when I need them

Had a fault on a Triton power shower from Wickes. Triton said they'd send an engineer under guarantee but I needed a copy of the purchase receipt which I couldn't find.
Phoned Nicky at Wickes and gave her the date of purchase. She found the record and printed me off a copy within 10 mins.

Timber prices very good, range is a bit limited. A little slow at the checkout but no queue to get in.

They have been a great help in providing us with everything we need, almost anyway, saving us going to a supermarket.
