Smyths Toys Superstores Gillingham

The store itself is wonderful; plenty to choose from, clean and spacious. In all honesty it reminds me of Toys'r'us from when I was a kid. What really makes it though is the staff. We were greeted by a pleasant chap at the door, and then as soon as we got to the push chair display (the reason for our visit) we were approached by staff member Natalie who offered us help and made us aware of her presence should we need anything. We took her up on her offer and she was fantastic - she got the desired items for us to test run, she knew an incredible amount and was wonderfully helpful, and just all round lovely. Props to this store, for its stock, layout and staff. Fantastic experience.

My partner and I went pram shopping today. As first time parents, we were a bit overwhelmed with options but had seen one online we were keen to look at and knew Smyths had it in stock. Although we weren't looking to buy yet as we are just looking around for options, we were helped by Natalie, who was absolutely fantastic. She immediately saw us looking at the pram we liked and offered assistance. She took the pram off the display and showed us everything we needed to know such as how to change each part, folding the pram, what came with the pram, how to change covers and clean etc and was able to answer every question we had. We feel confident about going back to Smyths when we purchase the pram and hope to see Natalie again. This is the best experience we'd had anywhere when looking at prams, even going to places that specialise in giving parents test runs on prams and not a single member of staff even approached us at these places.

We went to Smyths in Gillingham to look at prams and car seats for my sister. We was assisted by Vicky and she was absolutely amazing! So knowledgeable and really easy to talk to and ask questions. She was so patient with all the questions we had and the prams we wanted to try and showing us how they work. She was so honest about which prams would be easiest for my sister. She definitely cared more about us getting the right pram than getting a sale. She made the experience excited fun and easy. Cannot praise her enough and I will definitely be going to see Vicky when I need to pram shop! Will also recommend her to all friends and family looking.

Love this toy shop and of course, so do my children!! So much choice and good deals on toys and baby stuff as well. Its nice to have 1 place to get everything! They also do computer games and some consoles

Fantastic experience when buying a car seat. We went in with no idea or clue as to what we want or need. Alice was there to help. Knew answers to every question we asked, did the demo, let us repeat it, checked our vehicle was a match. Just went above and beyond to help our purchase. And she wasn't pushing for the most expensive one, it was for one we wanted and needed.

Done a click and collect online as a last minuet Christmas present . Within 15 minuets got a call from Jamie at the Smyths Gillingham branch to let me know that the order i made was actually on a display item . Still wanted to go and view the item as he advised me it wasn’t damaged at all . This was really helpful . When we arrived the item was in good condition Ryan at Smyths was already aware we was on our way and said we could have 10% off. At the till Jamie wacked on our 10% discount leaving us happy customers . In all awesome coustomer service and very helpful staff . Cheers Jamie and Ryan 😁👌

Fully loaded store. Approachable and polite staff who love saying hey. The young lady Lisa, who was extremely helpful as I did not know what gift to get my 6 year old niece. Will be shopping there again.

Went in this evening just as they were closing a very helpful member of staff showed us the strollers and then told us which stores had them in stock as the one we wanted wasn't available in store.

Automatic hand sanitiser, friendly staff. If you want any toys COME HERE. I swear they have everything, it’s like a magical wonderland of Santa’s workshop. I get lost just looking at all the cool toys - and I’m an adult!

The guy on the bike section was very helpful and friendly and there was a slight problem with the bike but I came back and Lauren-Paul was really helpful and friendly she sorted an exchange with no worries and now my daughter has a bike she loves thank you all for your help
