Tina's

I'm so glad I found this treasure trove! And the owner, Tina, is delightful, and so knowledgeable!
So far I've had duvets cleaned, bought toys for my granddaughter, and on my last visit I got inspired to buy some wool and knitting needles. Tina cast on me and did the first couple of rows, and then watched me do my first row ever!
On my next visit I shall be taking in some garments that need some small repairs, and maybe alterations, so that she can work her magic!

Another great result - so much thought and effort goes into getting things just right. This was a table cover we needed making for a show. Even down to little velcro attached corners to stop the stainless steel table damaging the cloth, which was pre-made like a glove. Thanks Tina.

Tina was extremely helpful in taking my measurements for my wedding dress to be altered, back in December 2020. Although we were in a pandemic, we were able to meet safely in the shop after hours, making sure we stayed socially distanced with masks worn. Tina spent lots of time pinning my wedding dress carefully and giving excellent advice on how to make it fit well, especially when shortening the train. The dress was sent to the tailor and altered beautifully. Tina was also very communicative via phone and text. I was delighted with Tina's service and would recommend her to anyone needed to alter clothing, including wedding dresses!

Great range of hobby kit. My wife loves the range of wool which is reasonably priced. I might get a jumper some day! Always good advice on offer for novice and experienced knitter. Fantastic to have such a well-stocked money drain locally. 😂

I love this shop. it's got everything you could possibly need for your knitting crochet and crafty needs. they are so helpful even helping with patterns and will order in whatever they don't have. great local resource.

Tina's shop is like Pandora's Box, you never know what Tina sells, there is vast colours of all kinds of wool, needles etc. Then there's plain packs wouldf cards ready for card-making or scrapbooking, with loads of accessories to make, plus loose cards. Her shop has something that everyone needs

Tina also stocks haberdshery items including sewing threads, felt, safety pins, sewing pins, you name it Tina stocks it. Also loads of kits of all descriptions for children & adults.

You can also take alterations to be done to any garment and Tina also takes in Dry Cleaning, especially double, single or king size duvets to be cleaned.

I would recommend a visit to Tina's even if you don't want anything, you will be surprised at the welcome and the service you will get, there isn't many of this type of shop around with the service you get from Tina's.

I haven't been for a while, but I'm amazed every time I go it, what's different she is stocking.

Old school wool shop - tons of wool, needles, crochet hooks, some haberdashery and Tina herself, who gives advice, will hunt out what you are looking for - and take in your dry cleaning too.
