I've got my last 2 pairs of running trainers from here now. They all have so much knowledge and really know what they are talking about. The are also very reasonably priced even if you compare online it's hard to beat them! Safe to say I'll be back for more!

Excellent little fitness shop. Went in to get some running shoes fitted as my previous ones were giving me issues, the advisor spent ages examining my posture and going through different pairs to see what would work. Really knew what he was doing and I left with the perfect pair.

This shop was highly recommended by a running friend and I can now highly recommend myself. What a delight to have someone who is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly to give excellent advice on the best shoes to suit your feet. I explained I had a hip replacement and was back running but my gait had changed. Several pairs of shoes of different brands and sizes were produced. Narrowed the selection down by trying on and jogging up and down the shop. I am now the owner of a pair of the comfiest running shoes I think I have ever had and the icing on the cake was that I could take them home, wear around the house or use on a treadmill and if not completely satisfied, you can take them back. Now you don't get service like that very often these days. I will definitely be visiting this shop again!!

Came in to by running shoes for myself and my wife. Gentleman who served us was most knowledgeable. He answered every question we had and knew exactly what we both needed shoe wise. He spent over 40 minutes with us making sure we knew what we were buying and why we were buying that particular shoe. Highly recommended to anyone wanting help & assistance, whether expert or beginner.

Start Fitness are amazing. I went in for some new running shoes but had no idea what I needed, I have had surgery on both of my feet so I'm probably a trickier than usual customer. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they looked at my feet and how I run, walk and stand and brought out a selection of shoes suitable for me. After narrowing it down I tried some on the treadmill and now have the best fitting pair of shoes I have ever owned.

Brooks trail running trainers - needed good advice as I have severe pain in my achilles. Chap there really knew his stuff. Really helpful and recommended the perfect shoe for my style of wide feet. Also wedges to raise the heel and shorten the achilles. Cant wait to hit the trail. Would definitely recommend.

Popped in today to get a pair of trainers for a Christmas present to myself. Staff were really friendly and had great knowledge of the trainers. The man (didn't get his name) was amazing! He recommended several pairs of shoes and together we found the best pair for my running style. Plus 10% student discount which is always an added bonus.

I took my teenage son for some running shoes and was amazed at the level.of customer service. The man who served us was exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable and courteous.

First class customer service. Start Fitness were recommended to me as I've been struggling with various injuries (mostly plantar fascitis) due to wearing cheaper ill fitting running trainers. The lady in the shop was lovely and so knowledgeable and helpful. After spending time analysing my feet and tread/pronation etc she advised I'd been wearing trainers which were too narrow and also that I needed trainers half a size larger. Just been for my first run in my new Brooks and it was like running on a cloud. Highly recommend these guys!

Went in late Saturday pm. I was fitted with a pair of running shoes for my strange feet. Lady was so kind spent a long time getting me the right fit with price options too - social distancing all adhered to. Been for a run and the shoes are perfect comfortable beyond words ( Brooks Adrenaline), so many thanks great product, expert fitting and a fabulous customer service experience!

I love this shop been buying here for years, I buy all my running shoes here. The staff are really knowledgeable about footwear and are able to point out the shoes for you. I have high arches and overpronated feet, with one longer than the other and needed something with removable soles that I could fit my orthotics in and got some great advice on which would suit and what type of footwear I needed. check it out especially if you run.

Absolutely brilliant shop & staff. I visited the shop and spoke with Debs (possibly the nicest human on the planet!), I have problem with an achilles injury and she explained about several different trainers and looked at my running gait. I purchased a pair of shoes and some KT tape to help my injury and am totally over the moon with them both. I wont' shop anywhere else now as the staff and shop are great!!

Excellent shop and shopkeepers. Had some issues with pain from running. Went in and spoke for 15 minutes with me about it and never tried to sell me more than exactly what I asked for.

Really excellent, experienced staff. Had a consultation on running shoes suitable for my disability with the female staff member who advised me fantastically. Unfortunately didn't get her name, it was the woman with the short hair and glasses. Grade A service.

Visited today with intention of trying gait analysis as a new runner about to do some 10k runs and GNR. The lady who gauged my feet was extremely friendly and more importantly knowledgeable. She spent time ensuring I found the correct shoe for my needs without any hard sell. I am very happy with my purchase and will be returning in the future. I'd recommend any runner to pay a visit.

Solved my knee pain and got me running again. All with a smile!

I haven't run for years due to a knee pain. My last pair of Nikes didn't help and my local shops in sheffield never provided useful advice.

I popped into this shop and after having a nice general chat and buying shoes for the kids, the adviser checked out my standing and walking style and advised of a pair that would help rotate my knee back into the right position. Help really knew his stuff. I bought them and I've run three times this week without pain. My feet feels very different now whilst running as I am running on a different part of my sole, but I've gone with it and my knee feels stronger with no pain. Really pleased!

Great shop! I'll definitely make the journey back then I neee more advice.

Fantastic shop went in looking for some new running trainers was given lots of different types to try on feet were measured. The guy in the shop was very helpful will be back there for my next pair and probably more running equipment.

For advice on the correct Running shoe & top Running tips they are Top of the Pops. Freindly Staff with a great knowledge of fitness right across the board to be honest. If there is an item they don't have in-stock I don't sweat it as they have it within 1-2 days or so. Been going 3 yrs now that says it all I think...
