Durham Halal Superstore

Durham’s new halal superstore will save our time and money as we used to travel Newcastle regularly to buy Halal meat and other middle eastern/asian products. There are plenty of choices in this shop. Meat, chicken, olives, spices, grains, pickles, etc.

Awesome Halal store offering great quality meat which is very fresh and good quality. The staff is very polite and accommodating. The shopping experience is better than the Newcastle stores. All Asian and middle eastern groceries and fresh vegetables available. Worth a visit.

Amazing shop! A good variety of herbs and spices at a reasonable price, interesting vegetables and other foods. We particularly like the spicy samosas. A very clean shop with helpful friendly staff.

I used to purchase my groceries from the Middle Eastern regions whenever I was in London. I am thrilled that these guys have opened a store here, just 5 minutes away from my house. They offer everything you'd expect from an international grocery store. The lady at the shop mentioned today that they are willing to source items not currently in stock from their suppliers based on customer demands. I wish them the best of luck with their new business.

Very clean and tidy shop . Close to Durham central . Halal meat and food available . All fresh meat and vegatables as well . Nice friendly staff

Called in on Saturday for the first time. Beautiful clean shop with amazing variety of items in stock. Lovely Butcher counter...FREE bones for my dog too.
Will definitely be in again...needs a telephone number advertised though

Went here a few days a go to grab some spices for work. This shop has a great range of asian and middle eastern spices and groceries. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Recommend parking at Lidl and walking round as parking is limited to a couple of spaces at the front of the store.

Great place to shop. The butchery area is Immaculate with fantastic choices available. Very well laid out store, spotless. Extremely friendly staff. Cannot recommend enough.

First of all, this is first 💯 halal supermarket in Durham and the owner of the store is very humble and respectful man. Secondly, all Asian, Europe and Britian products are available there and specially halal HMC Yorkshire Meat available there . And the whole staff are very nice. Lastly, the price's are very reasonable and affordable in the era of Durham. Therefore, they start fresh bread Naan 🫓 on this first Ramadan 😋. Please go there and visit this Halal supermarket.

This place is amazing. Such a wide variety of quality ingredients. Amazingly fresh herbs and produce, incredibly good medjool dates and so much more. Really friendly staff too. I can't wait to come back in the new year.

I’m so happy with this shop in Durham! Perfect ambience, nice smell and very clean! I bought lamb leg, and lamb neck, cooked beautifully! Will be back again!
