Spar - Dolwyddelan

A great little convenience store. If your in a campervan, walking, cycling or just generally travelling, this would be a good place to get provisions and a hot drink. There are public toilets on the opposite side of the road. There is plenty of walking and off road cycling in this area and local are really friendly.

We've reached peak Spar. Outdoor seating, good local ales and warm pasties. After a soggy day in the hills and a closed pub this little wonder out a smile on our faces. Covered outdoor seating was the icing on the cake.

After finishing our walk in the rain and realising that the local pub was closed on a Sunday afternoon (boo!) we stumbled into this cave of delights. Equipped with hot drinks, mouthwatering pasties, ales as well as whiskey we took a seat outside on the benches watching the rain and the sun. Spar - it was there for us when we needed it the most :)

Spar really came through for us today. Hot drinks, microwaved pasties, beers and whisky, a sheltered seating area to take refuge from the torrential downpours. In our hour (and a half) of need, with no local pub to go to, Spar was there when we needed it the most. Way above and beyond what one would expect from the local shop. We look forward to coming back soon. SparFest 2017!! Rock on.

This place had the best sausages in the entire world but terrible parking, oh... and you can get other handy stuff there as well. Lovely staff. Visit if you can.

It's a small Spar well stocked with most essential and pleasant staff. I only stop here occasionally

Friendly and helpful staff. A good selection of groceries. I was especially pleased with my 'Wales' walking stick mount.
