Nice, well run store. Not big unfortunately, but food quality is excellent. Plenty of parking and has a loo. Bakery goods are yummy and there's a reasonable selection of cook's ingredients. Now has Tu clothing but just a small amount. Excellent quality homeware items. Very civilised store to visit with efficient and friendly staff. Parking free for TWO hours only.

A great amount of well spaced parking made access to the store very easy. Staff were very helpful in store when i asked questions, and when the queue started to build at till, they were quick to respond in opening up 2 more tills. Well done.

Very Friendly and Helpful ... but often a shortage of staff on main tills... which many older people prefer to use ... and they get a bit of human interaction ... the machines can sometimes go wrong ... and a gate system has now been introduced at the self service tills... which can be a nuisance if the barcode to activate exit does not work ... and it makes it feel like a sheep pen ... or a cattle market! ....but all staff are lovely ... especially Pauline! ... If there were more tills ... it would be a much more personal experience ... I avoid using the self service tills ... but sometimes there are no tills open ... so I put my shopping back ... and go to Tesco instead ... where I know that tills with staff interaction will be more available .... and I can lay out my shopping properly!

Went in for a quick shop, got what I wanted, store looked well stocked and tidy, no queue on tills...love the Lindor pick and mix.

I had to only pick up an Argos order actually and after 15 minutes should pay for the parking but actually they were very fast and I just put it in in the code into the collection point machine and and they brought my heaters immediately so I didn't have to pay anything because I was done within 7 minutes or less

Nice little store in beautiful historic town, good parking but slightly confusing parking arrangement easy when you know how!! It's free if you spend over £5

Brilliant shop absolutely massive with easy disabled access nice wide aisle very efficient staff on hand to give help when required and a full service petrol station for disabled drivers

I go there for my petrol.
No fuss pay at pump facility.
Good price allows me to use unleaded premium. I have tested several 25 mile return journeys and get more miles to the gallon with premium

Good food costs less at Sainsburys

This is one of the nicest supermarkets I've ever been to. It's light, airy and feels spacious. Be sure to look up at the decor, with references to Hertford Town. My wife and I had a really nice cream tea, one afternoon. Good value. Good parking and access.

Love this store. Big, I always find what I need. Full of new products all the time.

Currently the parking was free, limited to 3 hours stay, which was more than enough to do my shopping.

Good car park for access to Hartham and a river walk to the town centre. It's free if you spend in Sainsbury's within a time limit. I would avoid Saturday lunchtime as there are often queues out onto the main road because football club sessions finishing then.
