Webbs of Tenterden

Nice store loads of everything. Pleasant staff. Plus,they don't rip people off with the price of Calor gas. So far this month I've paid £38/£40 elsewhere and £32 here for a 6kg propane bottle.. Used them a couple of times and found them far cheaper than others. Thank you.

Well where do I start. You have the china shop that does very good quality china and kitchen equipment, everything you need, absolutely. Then there is the ironmongery shop which is stocked to the brimmer with whatever you need from gardening, home maintenance, cleaning to name just a few. Then they also sell and repair lawn mowers and any thing else linked to your garden. What a fantastic company Webb's are. We live over 30 miles away and go there on a regular basis. Fantastic

If you need keys cut you should use Webbs. Their attention to detail and persistence in getting it right is unparalleled.

Always find the things you're looking for and more. Staff know their job . They have a wealth of knowledge.

Nice shop, great for cookware and kitchen stuff. Not so great for home furnishing. Had everything we went for and a choice of each. Good range of prices to suit most budgets.

I have been shopping at Webbs for more than 20 years and know all of the staff well. They are friendly and extraordinarily well stocked.

Nothing is too much effort for them, so I keep going back.

Loved it, everything you could possibly want. Will definitely go back, the lady in the shop was very helpful when we said we were new to the area. She told us about how the stock in the shop will vary with the seasons, I'm looking forward to seeing the Christmas gifts.

I only recently realised that they have (on top of handy things like paint, lightbulbs, anti-moth stuff etc downstairs) lots of useful gardening related things upstairs too. An excellent hardware emporium!

The lawnmower section is also great.

I have used this shop many times over the last few years. This shop seems to have everything. The staff have always been very helpful and friendly.

I went in yesterday to enquire about something I was told they stocked. i asked the lady behind the counter who said they did not do what I was looking for. When I advised her I believed they did, she then curtly said I would have to ask the gentlemen at the back of the store. They have floor markings indicating routes for travel during COVID which is good, but they have one aisle leading to the back, and 2 aisles exiting. There were other shoppers browsing in the aisle leading to the back. The aisle is only 1m wide and not wide enough to social distance, so I asked the lady if I could use either of the empty aisles to get to the back. She then came from behind her counter, walked right in front me to look for herself (ignoring social distancing) and then shockingly said I would have to ask the other customers to move. When I pointed out the fact she had walked right in front me ignoring distancing guidelines she said curtly that one way of looking at it was that I did as I did move out of her way, was that I had not socially distanced. Ridiculous attitude. Needless to say I left the store and will purchase elsewhere. Today I rang and spoke to the manager who was lovely and very professional. He explained that the staff are getting a lot of abuse from customers who are not following guidelines but agreed I should not have been spoken to like that. He apologised and I felt really cared about my feedback. I hope all customers (and staff) remember retailing is difficult for both staff and customers and we all need to remember common decencies and respect for each other. I wish all the staff there all the best and hope they stay safe.

An excellent emporium of quality stuff, perfect place to find a perfect gift.

If they haven't got it, you don't need it. Believe me, you'll soon find there were plenty of things you didn't know you needed when you visit! It's a brilliant shop, with knowledgeable, efficient staff and we use it regularly.

One of those lovely places that makes the British High Street such a great place to shop. With an extensive range of kitchenware, crockery, glass and homewares, the chances of them having the perfect gift for your pet foodie, or the precise thing you need to make that new recipe, are high.

Of particular interest to wheelchair users like myself, there's a lift so you can also see the upstairs. Do visit!

Love Tenterden though it's a bit far out.
This store does all sorts of things. We have problems with foxes and cats doing their number two's and I have to admit I'm so sick to death of putting on marigold gloves, mask and hair tightened back like Hilda Ogden and feeling sick as I am having to clear the poo often smelly and then disposing of it in a nearby bin.
The fox stuff they sell is brilliant really works well and keeps Mr Fox and Ms Cat at bay and the poo free for a while. We got quite a bit today so I don't have to go back for a few months.

They have a great hard wear store here and ironmongery the likes of which you rarely see in small market towns.

Would recommend this shop.

This place is like an Aladins cave for me. All the tools, hardware items and electrical equipment. I could spend hours browsing. Love this shop.
