Co-op Food - Oakdale - Oakdale Road

They are decent places but expensive in comparison to the supermarkets but you do get deals here 3 for the price of two things like that I have been going there daily most of this week now and a lady called Joe Joanne she's an absolute star she has helped me left right and centre very polite well manners and just makes the shop worthwhile well done for getting hold of the lady that co-op keep her because she makes the local shop worthwhile however I went in there today with my therapy dog as I have posted somatic stress disorder she's not allowed to leave my side if I have an episode she she takes me home I went in today and Debbie a member of staff said that I cannot be in the shop with my dog this is after I have given permission by the owner after I showed my paperwork and labels for my dog I will not label my dog because they are too big and I do not want everyone knowing that I have mental health issues why should I so I do not label my dog at however I do go into shops frequently and I let them know the situation they have never given me a problem until today Debbie is a problem and it's embarrassing having to explain myself and still refused entrance with my dog somebody with authority has to take care of this problem because what she has done is broken the law I'm not going to call because they are a very busy team and I don't want to trouble them with this however something has to be done

Co-op, Oakdale Rd has been my local convenience store for many years. I've seen many staff come and go. Some of whom are still working here to this day and they have always been diligent, friendly and helpful. The store itself is open on most days of the year from early till late at your convenience. The recent refurb has allowed a wider variety of products to be sold with more breathing space in the shop. Glad to call Co-op my local convenience store.

The staff are amazing. They know all the local customers and are always friendly. It's however extremely upsetting for the local community to see them targeted by a group of youths and others constantly STEP UP COOP AND LOOK AFTER YOUR STAFF #securityguards

Update: since my original posting this coop has had a refurb. Wow what a difference. Clean and tidy, additional item choices and a rejuvenated staff. Good turn around.

Very conveniently located for me as I live around the corner. Staff are absolute diamonds who are so lovely. They’re always so pleasant and friendly. An asset to the coop group
