Grape Tree Spalding

The lady was really helpful and the shop looked amazing with all the stock and no gaps. Very reasonable prices. This is a shop heaven to vegans and vegetarians. I would highly recommend this place for anybody that wants to try different and exotic healthy eating.

This latest visit the products were good and well priced as normal. Sadly the member of staff wasn't very on-the-ball. The customer in front of us queried her bill as it seemed too low. This resulted in a rescan as an expensive item had been missed. Then on our turn I got my loyalty card up on my phone, tried to scan it, was directed to the payment machine and reacted before I registered what I'd done. This resulted in loyalty card remaining unscanned and payment being made from the wrong account. The cashier then only offered an apology rather than offering to cancel the payment and put the goods through again. It was as if she wasn't interested in her job at all, just going through the motions till home time

We've shopped at Grape Tree for a while now, normally at the Huntingdon branch and never had a problem. Sadly, the same cannot be said for the Spalding purchases this weekend (31.07.2022). The items bought looked fine until you opened them. The peanuts were soft and stale as though they had been open to the air for a long time. Even with a date of end of year 12/2022...Completely inedible. Only useful purpose is bin fodder. Won't be using you again....not cost effective to do a near 35 mile round trip to return them so I guess we're out of pocket. This is the second occasion of poor quality items from this branch.. GOT A REPLY FORM GRAPETREE......DO YOU NOT LOOK AT THE PHOTO SHOWING THE INFORMATION YOU WANT.
