We visited the Waitrose in Ely to grab dinner, and the meal deals were of value, and we're of excellent quality. The only thing I have to say is the labels aren't clear about what is and what is not a meal deal, in particular the snacks, as most would have the red meal deal stickers, but some would not and would have a regular sticker. Otherwise, it was great, and we used the self-checkout; the lady running that section was fast to respond to our machines when it ran into an issue, but all in all, it was a great experience.

I would like to say thank you so much for Waitrose Ely. I often use Waitrose and I know your products and service are wonderful and meet many people's needs. Especially today for me. . . One of your lovely and cheerful staff, Nikki turned up to my house and handed to me my wallet with some cash and a bank card etc in I had lost a month ago and gave up looking for because I thought I had lost somewhere on street. In fact Waitrose Ely has kept it safe and has just delivered to our front door!! That's absolutely amazing and honest and true customer service both inside and outside of the supermarket. This unforgettable experience to me will make your customer come back again and again to your store. I can't say thank you enough to Waitrose Ely!

A clean and well-maintained shop with an intuitive layout. All the staff are happy and friendly with some good chit-chat on the tills! Super busy on Market Days so best to avoid, lest you recieve a bruised shin from a tartan shopping trolley!

Went in for a box of chocs, found a ticket on it for a free carrier bag of Xmas treats

This is a 5-star review for the stores response to an emergency situation in a extremely good professional and empathetic manner it speaks highly of the management and ethos of the business.
My sister visited the store today and was suddenly struck with a acute neurological pain attack with accompanying distressing side effects.
The response was excellent and immediate and my sister was made to feel safe and cared for while her husband made his way to the store. A particular thank you too to a lady by the name of Mandy who's normal job would be as a cook so apologies to anybody who missed a meal because Mandy was attending to my sister for the best part of an hour. Our grateful and heartfelt thanks to everyone involved and to the management for the leadership that allows this level of customer care to flourish.

Today I managed to drop several bottles of wine in the store. Totally my fault. Nonetheless the staff insisted I reselect my purchases ignoring the fact that I had cost the store financially and also caused considerable inconvenience. Really kind behaviour and much appreciated.

I shopped here on Christmas Eve and despite the fact it was one of the busiest times of the year the staff couldn't be more helpful. To give you an example, I asked where an item was and the assistant walked with me, half the length of the store, until I was showed where it was. Outstanding! The food and wine (it was Christmas after all) and the choice, is, as always, superb.

The car park there is close to all the amenities but gets pretty full so expect a bit of a hard time finding a space but it's not impossible. Keep an eye on the time As I parked over 3 hours and got charged £40. All in all perfect spot to see Ely city center.

Great shop! It's useful to have a grocery shop in the city centre. I dont drive, however its right next to its car park, if you are driving. The staff here are always very polite and helpful. And the range of vegan and gluten free items are very good.

Wouldn't usually write a review for a supermarket, but today when I was having an issue with a voucher at the self-service till, Debbie swooped in and fixed the problem with a smile and good humour! Definitely 5 star service

I shop at Waitrose on Saturdays. When checking out, I am always greeted by a smiley Lauren who never fails to brighten up my day. I enjoy having a weekly check in with her as it keeps me sane! Lauren's work ethic and ability to communicate indefinitely speaks for itself. She truly has become the friendly face of Waitrose for myself and many other customers.

A lovely store with a great selection of foods available. Always a treat when I visit!
