Today you have gained a new customer due to our normal store in kendal has now introduced self service, we go shopping to buy our goods and not to do someone out of a job by doing the till work ourselves.
Hopefully lidl won't go down the same path.

Good quality at affordable prices, limited options compared to larger supermarkets which helps keep the cost down as your buying what you need.

Another clean and fresh Lidl store. The building it is in is lovely and always seems pretty quiet to visit on the few occasions I have been. Good close parking. The store itself is similar to any other Lidl. They only difference is that it has that friendly Northern vibe in there. The staff were helpful and friendly

Lidl has only recently come to Kendal.
There is a really good range of old branded products available and many of them at discounted prices compared with other major supermarkets.
There are also premium products and named brands which are usually close or the same as the other supermarkets.
Like Aldi they are well known for their middle aisle products, which represent good value, but are only available for a brief period.
If it is something you need, get it as soon as possible! Details are available slightly in advance, on the Lidl app and web site.
The location is good, being closer to the centre of town than it's rivals, the only down side is if you are leaving by car to go northwards, you have to detour via the station - a symptom of Kendal's chaotic traffic system.
It's always worth checking out the latest range of regional products, also time limited, especially if you recognise them from a holiday abroad, or a previous purchase... they do get repeated annually.
I recommend using the Lidl app to get discount coupons electronically - you have to scan the app at the checkout before paying, and any savings are then automatically deducted from the total.
It also allows you to create a shopping list, and has opening times and directions to the store.

This place is relatively quiet compared to many (for now) so it's an easy going experience. Nice staff too.

It's been a long time since I've been in this store, and I was impressed by the range of goods they had on sale: prices were very competitive and we ended up buying quite a few items. We will definitely be back on our next trip!

Picked up some shopping for my holiday in the Lake District, Troutbeck Bridge near Windermere. Very clean store and well stocked. Friendly and helpful staff, no self service tills. Free car parking space.

First class supermarket, we,ve been waiting years for a Lidl, NOW ITS HERE. Save money on a weekly basis with their excellent prices, which is what everyone needs. Good size carpark, wheelchair friendly, vegetables and fruit fresh, great bakery, definitely worth a shop.

I like Lidl for its spacious feeling and how clean it is. I Like the fact they send money off vouchers to their app I have.
I love the bakery often buy croissant and sour dough baguettes plus doughnuts.

Brilliant light and airey great wide isles. Great variety and good prices. Definitely go again. I suggest you give it a try.

Covered area to lock bikes, wheelie baskets which don't require a £1 coin. Mini shopping trolley for kids, toilets, spacious parking, bakery and friendly staff.
