Kings DIY

Popped into Kings looking for some dust sheets to protect some items from the rain. Was helped by a very good shop assistant called David. He was able to recommend the right cover and showed straight to the correct part of the shop. That’s why I support businesses like Kings , much more service from them rather than the chain stores - thanks so much

I received the best service today, I felt compelled to write this. I bought a gravity chair many months ago (not from Kings), and a screw fell out. I explained the problem to the assistant behind the desk and he spent the next 10 minutes fixing it for me. After a bit of trial and error he found the right screw size and knut. I felt terrible when it only cost me £1.20!! Amazing service. I always go to Kings because they give you much better advice than you would get at a Wickes or B and Q.

A cornucopia of not just things you need but knowledgeable and friendly staff who knows to take time with folk who might need some advice. Far nicer than the bigger DIY stores, and you can do some food shopping at the local co-op, as well as pick up some pet supplies from the other local shops.
Well worth popping in to get the stuff you need as well as a few things you perhaps didn't realise you needed...

The staff are helpful and offer advice without pushing you to buy anything. There are so few hardware shops these days and this one appears to have a steady stream of customers which is great to see.

Kings is my go to place before anything online because I can talk to a human being and buy exactly what I need. Prices are very good too, often cheaper than Amazon surprisingly!!

I moved to Nottingham a year ago but still haven't found a shop like Kings, so I took the opportunity to go in for a browse today and came out with a few things I'd been looking for for ages! As always, good value and friendly, helpful staff. I'll be back next time I'm in Sandhurst!

I don't know what I'd do without this store! I don't think there's anything householdy or DIY they don't sell.
And they have a wall saw which I regularly have timber trimmed on, much better service than the bigger stores
