Fantastic shopping experience!

Called in yesterday for an item. Three ladies listened to our request for a very obscure piece of outdoor metal chair rubber footing. they produced so many alternatives. I could have spent a full day looking at all the items for sale. The shop is like an adults Christmas Grotto. Most certainly the place to go for practically anything! Well done....

I love this little Hardware store, helpful knowledgeable staff and you are able to buy small quantities of things instead of huge packs!

Extremely helpful staff! Great stock always get what I need.

If you need anything from an obscure 0.2mm screw to a large rod for angling, from fork handles to four candles, this store has it all.

If you loved Open All Hours as a kid then this store will be a welcome delight to you as it's blissfully reminiscent whilst maintaining a full stock of all things hardware and manual.

Bulbs, nuts, screws, bolts, rivets, pen knives, fishing rods, obscure cheese graters and umpteen glues. They have it all.

Love this shop. Support the independents!

Such a huge range of random items & handy when you want small quantities of anything. I got four meters of cord rather than having to buy 60 meters in B&Q. Very helpful & knowledgeable staff too, I hope they can keep this great shop going.

I visit Poole on an annual basis.

As a kayak and canoe enthusiast this is generally my first stop. Loads of of kit in stock to keep you floating.

Recently went to Boone's for very reasonably priced disposable gloves that online were a fortune and also bought an outside padlock. The ladies serving were so kind and helpful especially in our current situation and will not hesitate to use them again. Our first port of call in the future.

Fantastic service and knowledge. I wanted peg board hooks. B&Q had no idea what I was talking about. These guys did. I can remember visiting this shop with my mum in 1960. So pleased it is still going

What I love about this place, is that it stands out to any other store in Poole. The staff are so kind and helpful and a pleasure to talk to. Everything you need! if you can't see it, Ask! There Always willing to help! Thanks Again! :) 10/10! Highly recommend to all!

The best hardware shop in Dorset, if not the UK.
Everyone who works there knows their subject matter, whether buying an individual screw, washer or tool. There are few high street shops that are like this, selling every conceivable item you could ever ask for for home maintenance. Unfortunately the giant superstores have closed down shops like these, so it's great that Boones have continued to trade.
I recommend it 200%.

I've been a satisfied customer for about 30 years. Very often cheaper than b&q etc because they don't change prices every day, only if necessary when new stock comes in.

Great independent local hardware store, stocks everything DIY related you could want at competitive prices. Also great for fishing equipment.

Stands out on Poole High Street as a traditional old-style hardware shop. Just about everything you could need for DIY. It’s a rare gem, always with a carefully laid out frontage of goods on display.
