I ordered online, having spotted stock of 4 collectible figures from a collection of 7.

Really helpful staff rang me to let me know they had the rest in stock, and to combine my orders, which enabled me to complete the near sold out collectors item which I thought I'd missed.

The delivery came promptly and in great condition. Fully recommended

Having first stumbled upon Game On well over a decade ago my experiences there have been consistently excellent. I’ve always been made to feel very welcome, even when I’ve just popped in for idle chit-chat. Staff are helpful without being pushy, and above all, know their business. The aesthetic is warm and comfortable and everything is bright and clean and neatly presented. It’s very much a family-friendly shop but accommodates the child in all of us. For me, walking into Game On feels a little like Christmas – The way I remember it as a kid.

It's tough being an independent games shop, with so much competition and cut throat pricing means their service needs to be on the button.
The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to help, the fact that they have been going for over 20 years speak volumes.
I have bought 3 generations of games consoles and will have no hesitation in buying the 4th.

I’ve been a valued customer of the establishment ever since it opened in the late 90s. It’s a local business run by local people. As a common nerd it is the only place within 20 miles that shares any of my interests. Even when I walk into game on I feel very welcomed and know the staff very well and they know me. I’m normally informed the dates of new game releases and I often ask if they can put one aside for me. No trouble at all. There is even a loyalty card system which is rare for a small business and that gives you a 5% discount on EVERYTHING in store or that can be ordered in. Pretty much my entire DVD and PS3 collection has been bought from their pr-owned section. Then if I discover that a disc is not playing right after I’ve bought it, I take it back in and they repair it for free. Or if you’ve damaged a disc beyond playback, the staff there will repair it for the modest fee of £2.50. If warhammer is your game there is an extensive selection to chose from, if its not there it can be ordered. An amazing gaming table, which is free to play on any time the store, is open. Plus Games Workshop counts them as among one of their EILITE stores. The store is a big part of the community as every weekend it’s packed with kids and the staff teaching them how to play wahammer or magic the gathering while they also umpire the games. Then every summer events are put on like a Magic tournament or a painting competition.

I don’t know what you’re experiences of game on are. But all I know is that I’ve spent many an hour loitering in here waiting for a bus or just killing time. I truly recommend them and I count the staff as friends.
