Booths, Kirkby Lonsdale

Like all Booths stores this is a really nice spot. A bit smaller compared to some of the other stores but still has all of the essentials (and little luxuries) at reasonable prices. Good selection of craft beers and some really nice wines. Deli counter is cracking

Seems unique to Lancashire? Uplifting, high quality food supermarket. Really lovely stuff and helpful, knowledgeable staff. And people actually serve you. Easy to spend lots. But you will definitely enjoy your purchases!

Lovely market town with lots of good quality independent shops, a scenic bus route and a fabulous hotel which serves meals and drinks to non guests too. Great views from the town.

Lots of delicious local produce including the best custard tart ever! They had everything we needed for our stay in a local cottage.
Wish we had Booths in our home town.

2nd visit for 2 cars. He still have old banger paint database and I am very pleased with his service. I got sprays again within 30 mins. Jiggy remembers me, surprised!. I can see more staffs are working at the shop. I think his business is still growing up yet again. I have recommended my work colleagues who have BMWs at Heathrow. Definitely I shall come back again for my classic car.

Shopping in Booths was like going back a few decades to where staff were friendly and courteous.
It was like shopping in Selfridges and the food we bought was not only beautifully displayed and sold with charm, but also of extremely good quality.

Very nice local supermarket with plenty of Lancashire locally grown food and snack.

Must say. A very good selection of Cheeses. Bought a few to take home with me along with a few bottles of Stout and a Laughing Gravy Bottle of Ale. And we used the Charging Point for our 🔌 Electric Car whilst I shopped here.

If you've ever been to a Booths, you'll know what to expect. Usually good range of fresh bakes and fruit alongside the stairs you'd expect from any supermarket.

When we want to treat ourselves, we always visit Booths. Yes, the prices of some of the produce is on a par with Waitrose but some of the produce is cheaper than Sainsbury's. You pay for what you get and the quality is excellent.

Love Booths. They are such pleasant places to shop. Bright but gentle lighting, wide aisles and very helpful staff. They also have a broad, high quality range of produce including local products. And don't get me started on the own brand Earl Grey Tea. It's simply the best.

The food available at the 'hot counter' is always tasty.

Electric car charging bays available.
You pay £1.40 to park for 1 hour but as well as the car parking ticket for your windscreen, the ticket machine issues you with a voucher which when handed to the cashier at checkout allows refunding of your car park fee as long as you've spent over £5, a fair system I think to prevent people parking in their car park to then go down into Kirkby town for hours.

Same as all other booth's but not everything is for sale as you may find out at the checkout. Still there is plenty on offer that they will sell you. It was a hot day of my visit and the store was so cool. The carpark is great you pay and then get your money back at the checkout. Kirkby Lonsdale is a great place to visit.

Lovely little supermarket, really good selection of produce, very extensive free from section. As it’s a tourist area there’s also a nice local produce/gifts area too. Very friendly staff. You have to pay to park but they refund it if you spend £5

Smashing store, the young man on the deli counter (slicing roast ham) was brill cut it just the way we like it 😊 woild definitely come again 👍😊

This is a great little supermarket loved the butchers, deli fresh cheese counter. Bought two filet steaks from the butchers counter £14 beautiful beef. Then fresh roasted top side lean asked for some of the outside meat fabulous made two sandwiches with lively fresh wholemeal rolls from the bakery meat cost just over £3 to die for .Plus lovely fresh veg fruits and bargain vino . Topped of with such lovely service from a great team of staff everyone so helpful be sure to try it eve if your travelling homeward as I was back to Edinburgh

Nice Booths, usual fantastic fayre. Disappointed to find no cafe to use while car was charging ☹. Other than that great!!
