Lovely little shop. Just had to pop in and glad I did. Lady was really nice. The area is lucky to still have little independent shops like this one. Wishing them all the best.

A great local store with lots of choice, a great understanding of all the products with an outstanding real ale selection.

Absolutely wonderful shop. Heart of the community and sells fresh local products at a really decent price (can’t understand the negative review, must have been a miserable person as we all love the shop and it’s always done up so nicely). Highly recommend a visit as sells lovely cards and gifts from local artists too. Not to mention Tanners wine, Corbetts meat, Catherine’s bakery bread and local cheese etc.

Friendly and decent, hardworking and thoroughly lovely shopkeepers and staff - absolute pleasure to deal with and an amazing selection of food, wine, beers and sundries. Can only put the recent spate of 1* reviews down to a disgruntled shoplifter or rude customer that was asked to leave. The idea of the owner being racist or assaulting a disabled customer is laughable beyond belief - I assume the people that wrote these reviews immediately called the police to report the crime? Long live Woodfield Stores! 👏👏👏

Haven’t shopped in there since the mid 1970’s when it was called Morris’s but back then it was my source of sweets and chocolates and I lived at nbr 59 across the road. Excellent little store.

absolutely fantastic selection of real ale bottles from local breweries, always pop in to purchase and check out the ever changing selection on offer.

Overpriced. Unwelcoming. The woman who works there carries the demeanour of a subsidence-sunken mausoleum.

Visited on a Saturday. Guy who served me was on the phone casually chatting to someone else the entire time. Paid for some shopping without a hello or goodbye. Or even a mention of the price (just a point at the till display). Just put the phone down for 30 seconds! If you think this is rude, as I do, then avoid
