Y Groser Harlech

Amazing deli / grocery. We've just had a week self-catering in Harlech and bought everything we needed at Y Groser.
We had their lunch platter twice, one dine in and once as a takeaway, and it was seriously good and excellent value for what it included.
They've got a really good range of frozen ready meals and enough fresh ingredients to keep you going, including some amazing fresh delicacies and fresh bread every day.
They've also got some amazing wines and were able to give us two really good suggestions which were so good we ended up taking two cases home with us!
If you're in the area, we thoroughly recommend giving them a go.

Lovely little Deli with options to sit and eat a sharing platter with a glass of wine. Tasty, and original, veggie options and great cheese. If you fancy eating on the beach, it’s also the perfect place to pick up a picnic.

Lovely shop, great local cheese. Kind staff who kept our things we bought and then picked them up after touring the village.
Very nice section to sit and have their home made food.

I received a box of delicious food from my daughter who recently became a resident of Harlech. A great Christmas present and a lovely surprise. I hope your business continues to flourish. D Freeman.

What a pleasant surprise.

I just popped in for an Oggie, but we ended up having a mixed platter for two. Which consisted of a selection of Welsh cheeses and charcuterie, together with mixed olives, hummus, coleslaw, fermented onions etc, or and bread. All for £20:00. 😲

We could have also had a bottle of wine with the platter, of which there was a good selection, but we had to finish our walk which consisted of a big climb.😵‍💫

If you are in Harlech and fancy something different, pop in, you will not be disappointed.

Amazing experience and incredible value for money.
We were very nicely greeted and seated. The lady who served us gave us the option to choose what we wanted or for her to make a selection for us. We chose for her to choose and after a few questions to us about our preferences, she went off and came back with a plethora of fantastic items that she then went through explaining what each one was. We were well attended to during our visit and we shall definitely be returning on our next trip.

I popped into there today for a Welsh Oggie.
The staff where lovely and the Oggie was delicious.

Absolutely gorgeous shop and deli and fabulous service by Georgia (hope I have that right!). I had deli food to take away.... Amazing balsamic pickled onions local cheese and gorgeous bread. Brilliant range of good food and much organic too. Wonderful shop and fabulous service thank you. Made my deli picnic lunch at the viewpoint at the end of the town an absolute delight 😊

Brilliant business, staff are so helpful and friendly and the food is carefully selected and delicious. Ranges include deli, fresh meat and veg, dried goods, frozen special ready meals and wine - and open every day!!

Great selection of local cheeses, meats, and pies. Breads and pastries baked fresh in the shop every day.

Good selection of wines and beers. Great coffee too.

Plus, great selection of day-to-day food staples at reasonable prices.

Really pleasantly surprised to find this delightful deli grocery shop in tiny Harlech.
Was in Harlech site seeing, discovered this place by chance. Is a really nice, modern, feeling, good quality deli / come general grocers that stocks Welsh produce and is run on an ethical basis. There are a couple of small tables to eat in or a shop to take out. We stopped for a cheese and meat sharing board. My wife and are are foodies. The food was very good quality food. Will definitely go back if in the area.

Having not visited Harlech for 12 months it was great to see a new grocers / deli had opened in the middle of town.
We headed in on our first day and returned twice more over the BH weekend to buy and enjoy cheese, meats, wine, beer, fresh bread, and culminating in some amazing deli boards to eat in with a bottle of wine.

A great place with superb food and spot on service

A pleasure to visit. Lovely choice of tempting things to buy and tonight I'm enjoying a very tasty Haddock Mornay with an excellent bottle of white wine, both from Y Grocer Harlech. This place is the reason I detour into the town centre these days. Great cup of coffee to break my journey and an extremely warm welcome from the owners and staff, which is always looked forward to and appreciated.

Lovely little grocer on the high street, great selection of bread/meat/cheese, as well as jars & some frozen 'proper' meals, not your average frozen ready meals. Staff very welcoming and all food was decently priced. For sure worth a visit & as a bonus you can support the local businesses!

Found this amazing grocer when we were on holiday in the area. Just loved that you could get everything you need for your holiday shop and also order meat and bread etc for later in the week. We did all our holiday food shopping and also bought food to take home as we loved so much of the food. They do great frozen meals that were easy for the whole family, everting for a picnic (great pies!) and even great wine. You can also grab a coffee and pastry for breakfast which we did most morning! This is a must visit if you are nearby and the main reason we would return to the area as soon as we can.

Y Groser Harlech is one of the best things to happen in Harlech for a long time. Gary and Adrian have done a fantastic job, creating a beautiful store that offers so much choice and quality. There's a great variety of local Welsh produce and it's wonderful to see all the fresh fruit and veg. There are more unusual items here, too, which makes this a real destination store. I look forward to shopping there for years to come.
